Only stayed for one night, staff were really friendly and took you to the airport, which is always a bonus. The pool was brilliant and the area around very clean. The rooms were a good size, clean and had tv and free wifi, for an airport hotel it was definite value for money and we would definitely stay here again. There were shops down the road and a few restaurants however you could pay extra for breakfast if you wanted.

We stayed in the airport hotel for 1 night. They picked us up from the airport and within 5 minutes we were in the hotel. There is a nice swimming pool. The rooms and the breakfast were really simple. Unfortunately we couldn't sleep very well because of the late night guests in the swimming pool(next to the rooms) and as a consequence of the rain there were a lot of toads quacking. (very loudly)

The prices for a taxi to the Bang Rong pier were very high. (600 BTH for a less than 15 minutes ride)

Plus points:

Very near airport.

Bad points:
It's cost me 1400 THB for a room that looks like something out of the 1970's, with a 'wet room' with electric shower. There's a few thai cafes down the road, but I swear I won't make it back in one piece without being butchered by an errant minbus driver (loads of the things parked up) - that is if one of the stray dogs doesn't get to me first. But then, this seems pretty much typical for airport hotels - never a bargain, I'm full of doom and gloom my holiday is over, and on the desperate prowl for one more night of hedonism in Thailand... still... I digress.

Man that checked me in seemed pleasant enough - and efficient - bless him, he does the pick up and the check in's - throughout the day and night - does he ever sleep - or is he part Thai/part Jedi knoght?

My advice - reduce your rates a bit - this money buys 4* luxury in Patong !
