Stayed there for one night on our way to KohPhi Phi, the booking was done last minute. Every other hotel was busy. To be honest, we dreaded the reviews. To our surprise, the hotel room at the Oriental Wing was great! Very spacious room directly facing the garden and the pool, design furniture, artwork on the wall, nicely tiled and clean toilet and shower. For Usd 100 we think that was pretty great. The breakfast is amazing, lots of healthy options. Ignore the reviews which claim the opposite unless you demand Thai Food in the morning.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, arranged the transport and boat tickets to Phi Phi.

The Nayang Beach area itself is pretty filthy and bad smelling, we are morning joggers and the morning we checked out was probably the most disguisting morning jog I have ever done, smelling all the rot people leave in the garbage containers on the street. Good news there is a small National park at the end of the road, the smelling stopped there. All chaise longs and umbrellas on the beach were shabby. Would not come here on holiday, happy to have spent here only one night.

When we first arrived we were looked after straight away and taken to our room which we were not happy with as was right next to a pool having maintenace. So with a little bit of bargaining we got moved to a better room near the turtle pool which was great at no extra charge as it was not my fault they were upgrading pool and we had booked months in advance and specifically asked to be near a pool......maybe I should have said operational pool lol
. Huge bed 4 pillows wide.
Pools great
Big pool lounge chairs
Staff great in the bar and restaurant area
Housekeeping does't give you the creative towels and personal touch like other hotels in Thailand.
Breakfasts were fine your usual buffet of typical breakfast stuff and asian food.
Reception staff could do with learning how to smile..
Beach lovely right across the road. Direct access to the beach. Lots of little restaurants to choose from. We stayed for four nights which I think was just the perfect time to chill out

We just checked in to a room with mold all over the bathroom. The shower curtain is black in the lower 20%. The rooms are minimalist in a bad way. For the money we have found a much better value in our other 15 hotel nights in Phuket. The bed is basically a box spring and not a mattress. Staff does not really care.

THE STAFF JUST LEFT A MASTER KEY IN OUR ROOM! I guess we can go steal stuff tomorrow throughout the "resort".

Stay away from this place!

We booked two days on the tail end of our journey at Nai Yang resort, as it was near the Phuket airport. The rate was double what we were paying elsewhere, I thought I would splurge on our last 2 days. I was so disappointed.

Positives:
- Friendly reception staff
- 10 minutes to airport

Negatives:
- Not on the beach
- Loud and boisterous staff at the pool, made a huge noise the whole afternoon - so guests could not relax.
- Restaurant: One item I ordered made me sick, and the complimentary breakfast was dreadful. Toaster oven did not work (I'm a toast person!)
- The beach across the road reminded me of a "spanish resort" - row upon row of loungers.
- There were dirty marks left from the previous guests on the night stand - a soft cloth would've got them off.
- At 4am the bars were still open and loud bass drums could be heard in our suite (ever tried sleeping with that noise?)

Thankfully this was only a transit hotel for me. I felt so bad for guests that had arrived for the week.

Room Tip: Try and get a room furthest away from the road, to alleviate some of the party noise.

Decent hotel right in the middle of the resort so good walking distance to the bars/restaurents etc. Nice clean rooms, good bathroom, also they provide beach towels on top of shower towels which i thought was a nice tough. It's near the airport, only about 10 mins so really easy journey but the planes don't interfere with the beach or noise. There's free WiFi in the reception but not n the rooms.

What I would say though is that Nai yang beach it's self although lovely doesn't have a lot to do outside sitting on the beach during the day and drinking / eating of an evening. All Phukets attractions are quite far away so you will need to go in Taxi's, if you are looking to experince Thailand and have more than a couple of days I would recommend staying nearer Patong, if you are just looking for a nice beach and some sun then Nai Yang's great. One massive warning!!! Be VERY careful with all the 'fresh' seafood, I had lobster one night that was told came from the tank out front of the restuarent and got food poisioning, be sure to watch them take it from the tank and don't have any seafood covered in thick sauce so that you can't actually taste/see the prawns or whatever it is you have ordered.

We found this through a list here on trip advisor. What an awesome place to stay, I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Close to the airport, across from the beach, and a wonderful staff.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and right next to a pool. A great place to spend time and hidden back far enough from the restaurants and stands out on the road.
