“Excellent resort- designer chic”
Reviewed March 18, 2013 via mobile

Fantastic designer rooms. Quirky- but very comfortable. Ours is first floor looking out over the gardens and pool. Wifi; iplayer,tv. cofee etc. The mosquito problem seems to have been dealt with. The whole resorts is designed cleverly arrounf a tin mine theme.Food is good- we have eaten both in the hotel and also in the beach resorts. Bufet breakfast is great. The rooms are cleaned daily. The staff are friendly. They bring water and fruit round the pool.
It is a great relaxing holiday. Tomorrow car trip to phuket We have booked for the Beach BBQ and Thai evening at black ginger resturant.

We used to go to Twin palms a lot before for Sunday Brunch, but no more. Indigo pearl has now by far the most scrumptious brunch on the island. Not so much what they offer, but when there you ask yourself what they don't offer. At USD 80 per person with free flow of cocktails and wines this is a very correct price and highly recommendable.

We were picked up at the airport by the hotel car and a friendly girl,Hun. 10 minutes to the hotel. Drink and cool towels and check in. No wait. We were taken by buggy to our room. Clean and comfortable with quirky design. Luggage arrived within about 10 minutes. Explored a bid. Three pools all great. One children other two adult only.
Good buffet breakfast with great choice. We had stayed last week at the Mandarin oriental in KL. the breakfast was on a par with this. Today sat by pool and explored beach. Beautiful resort. Weather great and so far stff smiley and friendly.

Stayed at hotel in March 2013. The property is stunning and the rooms very nice. However the whole experience is spoiled by the poor customer service, particularly in the restaurants. We've stayed in numerous hotels and in many respects this one is up there with the best but in terms of service, it is very much lagging behind.

In the restaurants, the service is poor and sometimes rude and unprofessional. Having seen a number of recent reviews, this is a common theme. This hotel needs to up its game or the reputation will be severely dented.

We got married at the indigo pearl and enjoyed every second of it! The hotel itself is so unique and the attention to detail in the decor and grounds is simply stunning, but yes like some of the comments suggest it is expensive to drink and eat in the hotel. The great thing is that if you step out onto the main beach there are dozens or restaurants and lively bars which are very Thai and very cheap so you can have the best of both worlds. We would definitely return to the indigo pearl, as for some of the comments re Mosquitos, unfortunately this is Thailand .... There is a lot of fresh water around the resort and this does attract more of them just spray up and try not to go out at dusk or dawn.

My boyfriend and i stayed here in January, the room was amazing so unique but everything was ridiculously over priced it was about $10 - $15 AUS for a cocktail, that didn't even taste nice, the Day spa there was also over priced they wanted $80 AUS for a massage, so my boyfriend and i went behind the hotel where there was heaps of massage parlors, also the beach is not that great. its close to the Airport also. The breakfast was very nice except it was not covered so bugs were over everything.

Room Tip: D-Buk Suite

We were not even staying at Indigo Pearl but when we needed help they came to our rescue! We were being chased on the beach by a man in a security uniform from Nai Yang Beach Resort Hotel who frankly was scaring us to bits. We ran into Indigo's ground and up to reception where 3 members of staff came to our aid. A big thank you to all of them in particular to Pat who got rid of them and offered us transport home.
I've been to Nai Yang 14 times over the last 9 years and have never ever had a problem like this before.
