What an amzing 2 weeks we had as a family at the Dewa! Thai holidays can be somewhat disappointing, but this was an absolute pleasure. The Dewa is a relatively new hotel, with excellent staff. In my opinion it borders a boutique hotel. Excellent food, good (quiet) location on Nai Yang beach, with quality street food within walking distance. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not fit for swimming, due to currents, but a magnificent beach is within 200 m.

We had a family suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen (which was never used), and a large sitting and dining area looking over one of the pools and the pool villas. The only negative is that he rooms on the southern side borders a road, which does produce some traffic noise.

The restaurant provides a buffet/al la cart menu for breakfast (included). Due to rain, we dined at the hotel a couple of times, and we were not disappointed by the quality.

The spa was used by my wife and daughter, and according to them, it is miles ahead of the street messages available on the beach!

I would seriously consider this hotel again when traveling to Phuket! Thank you to the staff for a memorable time.......

Glad to read that you will be back! Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us, and for writing us a review. Nai Yang Beach is a special indeed as it does have the best of both world as in a quiet stretch of beach because of the national park bordering it, and also a stretch where there are fresh local seafood restaurants and a few bars making it a very quaint "village". Hope to welcome you back soon, as Dubai is just a few hours flight away.
Warm regards from all of us at Dewa, Lillian

My partner and I stayed here in June for a week and found everything about it to be fantastic. Beautiful spacious rooms, lovely smiley staff, two huge pool areas, perfect location across the road from a national park.. Overall we were very impressed with Dewa and will highly recommend to all friends and family. A suitable holiday location for all to enjoy.

We are here again for our 5th time and still can't fault this place. We would like to try somewhere different but just keep coming back because the Staff, the facilities, the accommodation and services are just outstanding. The pic are a true version of the Resort so you can expect what you see. Will we come back again....definitely!

Just returned from an 8 night stay in a pool villa and found the resort very comfortable and Nai Yang Beach a very quiet and safe area. Our first villa's pool was leaking and after trying to fix it we were moved within 24 hours to a better garden ( more open with sun all day) villa #135. The staff were helpful and the breakfasts very good. The one dinner we had in the restaurant ( BBQ night) was fine though not outstanding. It was very quiet guests wise so there was no hassles getting loungers around the pool. Not may loungers at either pool so not sure what it would be like when the resort was busy? Maybe they have more in storage.
The room was great with a turn down service every night but this usually happens around 3.30-4pm so be aware if you have your 'do not disturb sign' on the gate they will not come in but you can ring or mention to the desk on your way out, they will come back. The outside bathroom are lovely but there are LOTS of misquotes at night and early morning, so take fly spray, coils and heaps of repellent. There are many restaurants at the village ( 200-300 metres) our favourite was Naa Yang Tree and the massage place opposite terrific. Happy hour, South African chardy very drinkable at 100 bhat too, and the prawn spring rolls to die for. If you are staying in Phuket at any time, do your tours while there as the prices for tours are almost double at Nai Yang, not a lot of competition here. Taxi too very expensive, so go out to the main road to hail one if required! Enjoy!
It was my birthday and they delivered a cake and champagne which was a lovely surprise- thank you Lillian.

Room Tip: Rooms on the out side walls are shady and the She Oaks trees drop lots of needles in the villa pools. Room107 had no sun but room 115 and 135 both were lovely. We had a choice when we moved out of 107 and chose 135, excellent garden with loungers in the sun all day and no leaves in the pool. It was my birthday and they delivered a cake and champagne which was a lovely surprise- Thank you Lillian.

We stopped here for the convenience of the Phuket International airport. We were a little concerned we might be under a flight path but no need - the planes all took off away from us and really did not notice them at all.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite - it is huge and extremely comfortable. The adult on suite has a really nice bath, massive lounge dining and well equipped kitchen. There is a grocery service for those that want to cook for themselves but why would or with a reasonably priced restaurant in he resort plus plenty of beachside restaurants both a short walk down the beach. Best room we stayed in Thailand on this trip.

2 pools- one with pool bar, nice restaurant hat does a great breakfast, a bakery on the beach road pumping out good coffee and decent bakery goods. The pies were popular with the kids.

Beach had very strong current whilst we were there, no good or kids swimming.

Nice bar next door that opens at night and gets allot of locals- the owner is a nice man.

The beach bars to the South had a it of red light activity later in the night but not overly aggressive or intruding.

Highly recommend this on our way out - lovely easy place to stay and only 3 minutes drive to the airport.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review for us and for voting our rooms as the best you have stayed in this holiday. As this is the monsoon season (May - Oct), the sea is rough with strong currents great for surfing but not ideal for swimming. If you are planning another holiday to Phuket, try coming between the months of Nov - April, esp. Nov, Mar and April when the sea is calm, beach is wider and clean, and not as busy as Dec, Jan and Feb.
Warm wishes from all of us, Lillian
