My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for 11 nights. Dewa is a lovely spread out resort with nice gardens, great friendly staff and a great feel. Just across the road from the beach, and only 10 minutes walk to the local village. The suites are big and well equipped. They are more like apartments with separate bedroom and lounge / kitchen. Breakfast was really good, and again the breakfast staff were wonderful!!!! I also was a frequent visitor to their Bread and Butter Cafe which faced the beach. They serve great coffee, cakes and sandwiches. Again the ladies in Bread and Butter were wonderful. I'd go to the village most afternoons. Here we'd get our laundry done for 80 baht per kilo. There are many restaurants and bars, massage places, family marts, etc... And don't forget to try a banana, coconut and chocolate pancake from the pancake cart. My wife wife loved them. The village is very friendly, and you can have dinner with your feet in the sand watching the so go down. The resort has good dining options too, although at Resort prices. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to Central Festival Shopping Centre in Phuket Town and Patong which we used on 3 occasions. It's a good service as Patong is 900baht by taxi. The Spa, although twice as dear as the village was absolutely fantastic. My wife loved it and says it's better than the Aveda Spa she pays top dollar to go to here in Australia and at only a third of the price.Overall a lovely resort, with great staff and a sleepy little village down the road. I really enjoyed Dewa and Nai Yang.

Dear DBF1967,

Thank you for supporting the local vendors and helping to keep our community thriving. The banana pancake is also one of my favourite guilty pleasures.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and we really hope we see you back again soon.

The Dewa Resort is located at the northern end of Nai Yang Beach which lies next to a national park. It is a relatively quiet beach Village. The airport is only a 5 minute shuttle bus ride so you can get to this little quiet paradise quickly. When we arrived at Dewa Resort we had asked for a 4th floor (top floor) room which had its own area on the roof but there were all taken so they gave us an enormous 2 bedroom as there was 3 of us travelling on the 3rd floor with the biggest balcony it was an absolutely beautiful room with views over the main swimming pool of which there are two pools and views over the villas and you could see the ocean and watch the planes taking off from the airport. Even though the airport is close you were never disturbed by the planes ever. The apartment had everything you needed, coffee maker, hot water immediately for drinks, stove, fridge, everything just like at home. We had two bathrooms, one had a large round bath both beautiful. The lounge area had two couches that opened up to divans, the loungeroom had a dvd player and both bedrooms had tv's plus dvd players also. The only problem I had was that I am a very light sleeper and the room was too light for me so staff blackened out the windows for me and the beds were new and quite hard for us even though the had pillow tops but once again the staff put extra padding on the beds to make it more comfortable. All the staff at Dewa were so helpful, happy and could not do enough for you to make your staff as comfortable as possible. The grounds around the resort were so beautiful, the villas looked lovely, the supplied towels at the pools which was great as well as towels in your apartment in case you wanted to go to the beach or on a tour. We booked all our tours through the resort and everyone of them were fantastic and memorable. We had a massage the first day arriving after our long flight from Melbourne and words cant describe how wonderful it was best I have ever had in my entire life and I have a lot. My daughter got very sick with a bowel infection, they called a doctor from Bangkok Hospital Phuket to come to the hotel room and see her and after an injection and medication was lots better by the morning. The village of Nai Yang is so friendly, everyone smiles and says hello everytime no matter if you walk there which is only about a 5 minute walk or a ride on the pushbikes complimens of Dewa they will still say hello all day. We ate most of the time at Phens on the beach food was outstanding and they will make whatever you want and excellently priced. The Pizza's from the wood fired oven pizza shop were so yummy we loved them. The food from the Bread and Butter bakery attached to Dewa was delicious, everything there was so good and the lattes were great too. The buffet breakfast at Dewa was great with heaps of selection and variety it was great to order the eggs and other hot food straight from the menu all included in the price. The shuttle bus takes you to Phuket Town or Patong at 11.30am but you do have to book cause it only takes about 10 people at a time and picks you up at 6.00pm if you want to. I feel there should be more shuttle buses going every day it wouldnt take much to say have two shuttle buses daily taking you, we caught the taxi out the front a couple of times and it cost 1600 baht return which is a little pricey but nothing compared to Melbourne Taxi's. We hired a driver for a day he was also out the front of the hotel his name was "WAT" and he was awesome spoke good english and waited for us all day and took us whereever we wanted to go. It was great to go look at Patong or Phuket Town but it was so nice to come back to quiet Nai Yang and especially Dewa at the end of the day. We stayed 14 days at Dewa and loved every minute of it, we will be returning to Thailand next year and will definately stay at Dewa again. Thanks Dewa for your kindness, hospitality and warmth, you made our trip so wonderful and I cant wait to see you all again.

Room tip: all rooms are good for a couple the villas would be so romantic

The resort is located at the northern end of Nai Yang Beach, a relatively quiet beach on the north western side of Phuket. Being only minutes from the airport, you are quickly settled into your accommodation soon after arriving in Phuket. The hotel sits on the edge of the national park opposite the beach and a short walk to the restaurants and shops of the village. Dewa is beautifully landscaped with lush tropical gardens and two lovely resort pools. The day spa is well worth a visit. There is also a great little bar and handy shop for a quick coffee or snack. The staff are lovely and extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Taxis are a available right outside the door and can get you to other parts of the island very quickly. We stayed in a pool villa which was superb with outdoor bathroom and private plunge pool. Highly recommended!

Room tip: Choose a pool villa.

My friend and I traveled to Phuket in August. We stayed one night in Phuket, then traveled to Krabi the next day and stayed at Railay Beach.......heaven. (Yes I know you can get direct flights from Singapore to Krabi but not when we wanted them, darn it!). Well we had cheap accom so far so thought we'd splurge; so we booked into Dewa.
I'd requested twin beds. When we arrived we were upgraded into a pool villa; lord knows why but we were'nt complaining. The whole hotel is just beautiful.
The villas were divine.............the only thing missing was a free full bar (just joking).
The pedastle bath and shower are outdoors beside the pool all under cover so u can linger in the bath even if it's raining.
The room is equipped with a coffee maker, oil burner and all the normal things, but good quality.
There is a cafe called Bread n Butter. Yum!

Room tip: no complaints at all our villa number was 108

Dear joyroberts55,

There's nothing like an unexpected complimentary upgrade is there? We are delighted you enjoyed it and went on to explore Krabi. Please come back and stay longer with us next time.
