We stayed in the property for 4 nights. We booked a junior suite but was upgraded to a pool villa on the day when we check-in, which was great and we appreciated it.
However, we prefer the view so we are happy if we can stay in the suite. Unfortunately it was fully booked. So we agreed to stay in the pool villa for the first night and told the receptionist to inform us when a suite is available.
When we were at the front desk the next day, we have to check with them again for the availability (obviously message wasn't passed on the next group of staff in the morning shift). We were told all suites are booked.
On the third day, when we were at the front desk in hope that they will give us an update but there wasn't anything mention on our request. In fact we have dimissed the idea of changing as we were left with two nights. However, we would appreciate if the receptions can give us an update on our request but no one seems to be bothered. We are very disappointed with this and feel that there is a lack of personal touch in this area.
The room and the furnitures are rather old for a three year property. We had a power failure on the day we check-in. Fortunately is was for a short period like 15mins.More
