Very beautiful place to visit, u ll make many memories here. Homestay is very cozy, warm and beautiful. People are very helping, caring and loving. Everyone should have to stay here, very nice experience. No words to explain.
Firstly about Sangla Valley:
A place that you would never miss to notice on the Hindustan-Tibet Highway! A road deviates at Karcham and you will be travelling along the deep narrow gorges. After a series of climbs, you will get into a place where when you stick out your hand out of your car/ bus, you can pluck an apple from apple farms and that's Sangla valley for you!
A magical place that you would almost miss to notice if not for the Kinner camps board. With almost no reviews for this homestay and after a cold-expensive-dingy stay at Shimla, I went to this homestay without much expectation.
Ajay came running to help with my bags when the bus stopped. We climbed down a bit and I was welcomed with overflowing baspa river, beautiful apple orchards and 3 good souls! Lest I knew they would easily take me into their family!
I can never forget the roaring baspa river, apples that are cultivated with so much passion, love and care, stunning himalayan and Kinnaur Kailash range views, Aunty's bitiya, starry night where Ajay and I stood craning our necks to spot shooting stars and the family's genuine goodness!
All said, it wouldn't be fair if I don't mention about Ajay's younger brother - Abhay, who stays away from home but takes care of all the bookings online and guides the guests over phone!
If you ever want to immerse yourself with nature and also to experience genuine love and care, go for this homestay without much further thinking!
