“tasty fare”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

not too far to get to this eatery . Very basic decor but the food makes up for that . My wife had a pizza which she thoroughly enjoyed and I opted for the linefish of the day .when the waiter brought the plate ther was two huge pieces of yellowtail on a bed of carrot mash with asparagus spears drizzled with a wonderful wasabe cream sauce ,gorgeous and washed down with a cold windhoek lager and certainly not pricey .

“A view to excite the senses”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

The food is great and the view across fields to the sea is amazing, there are horses ducks and peacocks everywhere. After food there are little shops with all sort to chose from and a fantastic Art Gallery "ArtMark" with superb paintings at very good prices, well worth spending time browsing.

“Fantastic pizzas in a beautiful spot”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Can't believe it took me 10 yrs to discover this place. Super kidsfriendly, very busy. It is recommended to make a booking on Saturdays and Sundays. There's a pet farm for kids next door. The pizzas are incredible and the cakes as well. Loved it here!

“Lovely views, cafe atmosphere outdoors and good food!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

We enjoyed lunch at Blue Water Café after a morning spent wandering around the farm with our 15 month old grand-son.

The outside area has lovely views and the is also a large grassed area with play equipment for the kids.

The service was a little slow - however, we were not in a hurry and the place was very busy (Sunday lunch time on a glorious, sunny winter's day)

All 4 adults were very happy with their food - divine salads, very nicely presented and good calamari. The menu is fairly extensive so there is something for everybody.

My son is a total food snob and he was very happy with his meal.

Even if you don't have children, the restaurant is worth going to. It was not noisy, even on a busy Sunday - everybody was just happy to be sitting outdoors in a lovely setting.

They do have indoor seating if the weather is really lousy!

“An unexpected view”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

The food and service are good, but what makes this special is walking through the old farmhouse (now the restaurant) and out in to the garden - an unexpected and lovely view looking to Chapman's Peak and Noordhoek beach in the distance. A great spot for a mid morning cup of tea or coffee and slice of delicious cake. Avoid the weekends if you want to enjoy the view in peace. children can play on the swings and take a visit to Higgledy Piggeldy farm.
