“Lunch in bluewater”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014

Stopped for lunch in bluewater at Byron's. The burgers were lovely and they serve up the best onion rings ever. Prices good about seven quid for a decent burger but the chips are extra. Service was good and we were seated in five minutes from arriving. Would pop in again and have the burger with blue cheese and the onion rings.

“Does what it says on the tin!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014 via mobile

Been there quite recently and the food was as promised.....juicy,tasty burgers with fantastic onion rings and yummy fries. The beer and wine is good, the prices are fair, the waiting staff are polite and efficient. If you want a kids menu and colouring pencils, get yourself down to McDonalds or Pizzahut......they will suit your needs much better.

“Embarrassing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013

We ate at Byron shortly after Christmas as our friend had recommended it and ensured us the burgers were good. It took us three goes to be seated, being moved around the restaurant and having to position tables for us, bear in mind there were only 6 of us eating, not really a stretch.

It took a good 10 minutes to get any service whatsoever in which we ordered drinks and everything at once - this was obviously far too much pressure however. It took literally 20 minutes to get the drink order, which was 6 bottles of beer. I'm not sure what was going on there, but what i assume they do, is rack up orders at the bar, rather than individual waiters getting the order. Shortly after that the food arrived - in which the order was incorrect and had to be returned leaving me eating alone. The burgers are fine - but seriously nothing to write home about. Upon receiving the bill, they had tried to charge us for the original mixup which we had to get rectified. It was just error after error after this point.

Someone needs to take a look at different ways of doing things, because the service here is an embarrassment - there are so many places to eat at Bluewater and with GBK around the corner Byron to need to up their game.

“McDonalds dressed in a fir coat”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2013

Not really impressed. This is clearly not much better than the normal fast food outlets. It pretends to be something special by advertising 'Real Burgers' but frankly the burger in a 'paper' roll with skinny fries was probably not as good as a good old fashioned McDonalds. For my money this food is overpriced rubbish. McDonalds in a fir coat. The staff were friendly enough. Service not too bad.

“Mean company!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2013

Exceptionally friendly staff and quick service. Burgers were lovely, I had mine 'skinny' as I'm unable to have the bun, 'skinny' means Byron just hold the bun, your not given anything to replace the bun. The price remains the same however. So I had a piece of lettuce smaller than the burger, a slice of tomato and three slices of onion. I ordered a side salad which consisted of 4 halves of cherry tomatoes, a few chunky slices of cucumber and salad leaves for £3.50.

We will be returning to GBK
