As you know I’m a little crazy about Sushi, always trying to discover new and exciting places. Very recently found the new Gaijin, another hidden gem near Lisbon, in a local where most of us pass every day (Marginal Lisboa-Cascais).
It's been said that the first rule of real estate is location, location, location, and this place take it very serious, I can tell you it’s one of the best views overlooking world-famous “Foz do Tejo” and “Marginal” gives meaning to the expression “breathtaking”. It’s a perfect setting for a quick business lunch, a romantic Dinner or a magnificent Sunset drinking a Sake or Sapporo Beer with your friends enjoying a plate of sushi. Taking full advantage of its stunning location overlooking the cruise ships entering “Tejo”. A Tip request to be sit at the first floor
The food experience at Gaijin was outstanding! Once you've tasted their freshest fish exquisitely prepared, well-presented, really match the views. You need to taste their super-fresh sashimi and their signature “volcano Sushi” it’s a true explosion of flavors.
Before leaving my testimony and contribution was reading some of the existing reviews and with me I need to say that service was excellent, very friendly and cordial. It’s not that outstanding however with no flaws. Prices are very reasonable and affordable for a Sushi Restaurant.
PS: regarding the wines, please look at their selection, it surprise me for a Japanese Restaurant.
