This is typical American dining experience. The menu is broad and the food is cooked well. It’s at the high end of the price scale and just about worth the money. Friendly staff who want to help, but lack customer service training when things go wrong.
The decor of this former Little Chef roadside restaurant is bright and breezy as you enter. The young servers are pleasant and cheerful. Unfortunately the 8 in our party were shoehorned into a small booth which made eating very difficult. We all ordered burger-type main meals. After they failed to arrive, when people who ordered after us had their meals, we complained and the young staff simply said “the kitchen roll had broken and the meals were being cooked now”.
When food eventually arrived an hour later it was hot, fresh and tasty. Big portions. Everybody enjoyed their meal and we were too full to eat more. To be fair the supervisor knocked the drinks off the bill. But as a roadside eatery, they need to provide fast and efficient service.
