Description: We are a newly opened American Style Restaurant on the A11 just outside Attleborough in Norfolk. We serve breakfast from 7.30 - 11 during the week and then serve from our main menu until late. At weekends we open at 8 for breakfast. We keep the atmosphere as vibrant as we can with our Wurlizter Jukebox and authentic diner seating. We have an extremely experienced kitchen team and management team which are complimented greatly by our youthful energetic front of house team. We have a fully licensed bar which serves a full range of bottled beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. If you are coming to Mr D's at the weekend its always advisable to give us a call to reserve your table to avoid disappointment.

This is typical American dining experience. The menu is broad and the food is cooked well. It’s at the high end of the price scale and just about worth the money. Friendly staff who want to help, but lack customer service training when things go wrong.

The decor of this former Little Chef roadside restaurant is bright and breezy as you enter. The young servers are pleasant and cheerful. Unfortunately the 8 in our party were shoehorned into a small booth which made eating very difficult. We all ordered burger-type main meals. After they failed to arrive, when people who ordered after us had their meals, we complained and the young staff simply said “the kitchen roll had broken and the meals were being cooked now”.

When food eventually arrived an hour later it was hot, fresh and tasty. Big portions. Everybody enjoyed their meal and we were too full to eat more. To be fair the supervisor knocked the drinks off the bill. But as a roadside eatery, they need to provide fast and efficient service.

In the premises vacated by the little Chef near Attleborough Norfolk this place is very well run, the food is well prepared and of good quality, The staff are very cheerful and helpful. I have visited twice and on the first visit had occasion to complain that the steak was tough although perfectly cooked. The boss was very apologetic and instead of making excuses said he would sort out the butcher so that it wouldn't happen again. He struck me as very honest and I believed him. On our second visit the steak was perfect. The food is the usual style for the theme with lots of burgers, steaks and excellently cooked ribs but there are also several fish dishes and vegetarian options. The chocolate brownie is excellent and served with locally produced ice cream. We will go back again.

Good menu, lots of choice for everyone including vegetarians and they offer gluten free burgers too. Food was hot, tasty and arrived quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of drinks (both non alcoholic and alcoholic) they had available too.
Perhaps a little expensive but you get what you pay for!
Love the quirky American diner look and I found everything to be spotlessly clean. I love the jukebox too!
Good service, friendly but not intrusive.

seems hit and miss ... unfortunately we hit the miss phase! Worst thing being cold dry burgers, overpriced and to be honest better meals have been had from chuck wagons in laybys ... sorry not really good enough for the prices although the staff were very helpful, friendly and apologetic

Absolutely brilliant family diner. It looks not a lot from the outside, but once you get inside it is a real winner. The food is excellent, service good and the atmosphere brilliant. The kids loved it, their parents loved and the grand-parents loved it! Can thoroughly recommend the sweet potato fries - inspired!
