We have stopped here for breakfast twice now en route to visit friends in Norwich. We were just passing and decided to have breakfast.
The staff are extremely polite and courteous. They are always clearing away, polishing tables and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them - all with a pleasant smile.
I cannot comment on the accommodation having never stayed here, but the decor in the coffee lounge and restaurant is very clean and reminds me a little of the restaurants in America and Canada.
We will be returning.

Stayed at the Breckland overnight 23rd May. The staff were very helpful from the moment we arrived. We had had to drop someone off in Norfolk quite early and arrived at the Breckland only just after 10am but they went out of their way to make our room up so we could unload our things. We liked everything about it, the decor and comfort and cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. We had a very nice cooked breakfast before going out for the day as breakfast is served until 11am. There is a lovely coffee shop with comfortable sofas on one side of the room. The restaurant serves a carvery daily and a selection of meals. There is a separate bar area and a patio area with good garden furniture where it was quite pleasant to sit in the evening sunshine.
The only negative for me(and this is probably being really picky) was one of the waitresses at breakfast the next day appeared to need to attend a customer care course as everything seemed too much trouble to her. The younger members of staff were very customer focussed. Would I recommend the hotel definitely yes.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear look on to a very busy main road but it didn't keep us awake even though windo...

We were travelling to London and called in for breakfast. It took 35 minutes to arrive and when it did so the cooked breakfasts ordered by 2 of our party were cold. The bacon was hard and cold and the baked beans were congealed. Even the plates were only slightly warm despite a warning from the waitress of hot plates. The other 2 dishes ordered were OK. The hotel was not very busy. The kitchen seemed very disorganised. Those breakfasts had obviously been cooked then left. We did ask a couple of times but were told everything was coming shortly. We returned the breakfasts as they were inedible. We did not order replacements as we had already wasted enough time. The waitresses were pleasant and trying to do their best in impossible circumstances. There was no management on duty and no controls in place at all. Would not recommend. Obviously badly disorganised kitchen.

My partner and I stayed here at the weekend and the staff and accommodation were first class. The rooms were clean, fresh the decor is relaxing. We loved the colour scheme. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing! Although by a busy main road we did not hear any traffic at all! It was just perfect!! the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Please give it a try its just perfect.

I stayed here for one night with my daughter and baby granddaughter in a family room and we were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. The coffee lounge is great for relaxing and the scones are delicious. Our room was lovely with a fantastic shower and a very close up view of the A11 but no noise at all! The restaurant and pub were very busy as it was a Friday night but we were served quickly and the food was delicious, as was breakfast the next morning. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Would definitely return.

I had to arrange a hotel for 10 rooms for 20 friends all riding Harley Davidsons for an Long Easter weekend.
I had been told about the Breckland Lodge by a friend. The Staff could not have been more helpful from the time of booking to the end at checking out, The Staff was so helpful with emails and phone calls helping to arrange the parking of all the bikes together, to eating together at breakfast and evening meals so that things run smoothly. All the food was piping hot which is no mean feat for 20 and there was and good choice of food. The Carvery is excellent value for money and HOT. We was all very impressed with all the staff they are all very helpful, cheerful and polite. The Premier rooms which we stayed in are wonderful, very clean and comfortable. No one in our group had any complaints about the rooms, food or staff. Would recommend this Hotel and will use it again. Thankyou to all the Staff for making us welcome and our stay enjoyable.
