The temptation not to write a review in order to keep this very special place a secret is almost overwhelming but I made a promise...

Boslinney Barn is superb. Beautifully decorated rooms, private & comfortable. Direct outside access is a real bonus. Ginny makes a wicked breakfast & being a local, is a veritable mine of information. Cant recommend highly enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely place, the views were stunning and the welcome from Ginny was fantastic. Our room was full of lovely touches and we enjoyed the breakfast ( Vege and meat both top notch!). We were very lucky with the weather and were able to find plenty to do within a small radius. Highly recommended

What a fantastic find! A beautiful barn conversion home with stunning views and amazingly trendy and comfortable rooms. Ginny and Dave were brilliant hosts and they made us really feel at home from the moment we arrived.
On arrival we had cream tea on the lawn overlooking the garden and fishpond - and the stunning views beyond.
Ginny showed us to our room which was the "Red Room" and was beautifully decorated with nice touches throughout.
It was my wife's birthday and Ginny had placed a card in the room and a gift. How thoughtful - and a lovely surprise!
It was these extra things which made the weekend so great and relaxing.
It feels like we have been to a friends house rather than a B & B, and would thoroughly recommend anyone looking to visit the area to try the great hospitality at Boslinney Barn.
We couldn't recommend the rooms, the location or the hosts highly enough.

ginny was so hospitable throughout our stay at the barn. she went beyond our expectations, giving us a local map of the area, explaining how to get to places of interest, and which restaurants to visit. the rooms were excellent, and of a very high standard of finish. the little touches like putting our room lights on before we came back.

Stayed at Boslinney for 2 (rainy!) nights in July and it was lovely. Very nicely decorated rooms, not the usual 1970s style! Fantastic breakfast and overall definitely the best B & B we have ever stayed in.

If I had to recommend anywhere in the whole of Cornwall to stay it would have to be here. The accomodation is second to none, the views are unbelievable, the hosts Ginny and Dave are very welcoming. On arrival you are greeted with a cream tea which after traveling is much appreciated, breakfast choices are whatever you want them to be as Ginny is happy if you are happy! The shower room have toiletries e.g. shampoo, shower gel, handwash, professional hairdryer. There are tea/coffee making facilities and wine glasses/carafe/corkscrew for you to enjoy your purchased bottle or two whilst enjoying the views from the garden. You can walk into Mevagissey which takes about half hour - worth the walk - and you can also drive to the north side of Cornwall in the same time - 16 mile to Newquay - although there is lots to see close by - Lost Gardens are just up the road and Eden not much further. Whatever the purpose for your visit you will enjoy it and want to return. Take a look at the website and see for yourself www.boslinney-barn.co.uk/gallery_views.html

we booked based on the photos on the Boslinney Barn website, and we weren't disappointed. The views from the garden are fantastic. We stayed in the red room, with its own access from the garden. More than a home from home. Beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Memory foam mattress, and a duvet you'll have to drag yourself from.
Ginny and Dave made us feel like friends rather than guests. If Ginny offers a cream tea, say yes! Breakfast is fantastic. Cooked and served in the family kitchen. Thick toast too!

Ginny even put my wine in the fridge and returned it to my room of an evening in a cooler!
Just be aware if you are a nervous driver it is as described on the website, accessed down very windy lanes. BUT it is worth it. Follow Ginny's directions rather than your sat nav - which finds the narrowest lanes possible!

Enjoy your stay.
