A visit to Kata Rocks is a great experience from the time you get into the buggy at reception to your arrival at the pool/bar/dining area with its wonderful 180 degree ocean view. The night we were their the food was wonderful, waiting and bar service could be improved. We were there from 6pm to watch the magic sunset to 2am with lots of cocktails, their Vodka Lychee cocktail is a favourite.

We came here for the night of my birthday dinner and the whole experience was incredible. Firstly the view is amazing and the service great. We had their signature passion fruit mojitos which were lovely, we were then treated to complimentary tapas and bread and we ordered the wagyu beef and lamb massamun curry. Both were delicious. They then bought out a tiramisu birthday cake. It's safe to say we left very full and very satisfied. Thank you!

Me+hubby accidentally find this gem, and we never regret to visit this pretty place. They have a beautiful view, we were awe by it so much! We just had some snack & mocktail. The food is just average, but I guess the view they offered cover all.

In fairness I did not stay the night here. However I visited twice for dinner by the pool. The pool is beautiful with an amazing view. My first visit we ordered drinks and the bar behind us which looked open because there were 4 staff members inside talking. But it took about 20 minutes to get my cocktail. We had at a minimum 3 different people waiting on us which you would think equates to 3x the service but unfortunately I think it just made for a lot of confusion. When our food order was taken it was very confusing and our waiter never repeated our order so of course it came out wrong. Half of our party got their food the other half was sitting there for 15 minutes wondering what was going on. No one ever checked with us to question why only half of our party would have ordered dinner. It was just one of the worst experiences ever. Which is mostly the fault of the one person who took the order. But the prices are very expensive and I expected more. The food was good but nothing amazing for the price paid. The bread however, is the some of the best I have ever had. They offer a selection of herbed, walnut, ciabatta and Kaiser. They are served fresh, warm and soft along with tapenade, butter and olive oil. That was the highlight of the meal.

Tried this place as a result of a fellow Trip Advisor Review and it lived up to their Hype. First thing was the cool buggy ride to restaurant , I thought I was on a roller coaster! Then when we arrived we were met by the very friendly Stefan . We were blown away by the location, décor and view . The restaurant has a stunningly blue pool in the foreground with Andaman sea behind that! We arrived at 530pm to catch the sunset. We were shown the wine cellar by Stefan which sits underneath the pool which is pretty cool. After enjoying a cocktail and a wine recommended by Stefan we took our seat at the table. The food and service was amazing. This restaurant is worth of a Michelin star at least. I enjoyed the Barramundi ceviche which was fresh with wonderful flavors whilst my wife had a sublime Carpaccio. My main I went for the ribe eye which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. I didn't even use the chimmichuri sauce I ordered with it. My wife ordered a mushroom pasta which she loved. We shared the Pineapple Civeche as a desert which was a very pleasant surprise. We brought our own wine as tax on wine in Thailand is riduculous and they charged us 1000 BHT which was fine. We ate at Mom Tri the first night and was underwhelmed so we tried this place . Do yourself a favour , you wont be disappointed . 10/10
