When you visist Babbingtons alway's make sure you have room for a little extra dish. Check out the special and try and resist an extra dish from the main menu as well. I always end up with a 4 course meal, leaving comfortably full. Thank you to David and Sam, Colleen, Lynda and the crew top service as always. Trying to catch the new waitress Asia, hope to catch her and Tracey next time.. Keep it up Guys Thank you Andy and Magda

We had an early Mothers' Day dinner due to a previous dining experience which my wife had at Babbingtons with some friends which was most enjoyable.

For us this time it was a Thursday evening so the restaurant was relatively quiet but, even so, there were more than enough staff to deliver excellent service all delivered with a smile and genuine warmth.

The menu is full of variety and relatively inexpensive for the full range of options. There is also a "Chef's Special" of three courses but the flexibility is there to have just two courses if so desired.

We had an entrée of seared scallops (absolutely delicious and all too easy to give compliments to the chef) then a main of wagyu steak with broccoli, butter and bear battered chips with sea salt and the lamb shoulder. Both meals were excellent with the lamb almost falling onto the fork. One dessert of lemon curd tart was ordered which was scrumptious.

The wine list has quality wines by the glass or bottle as well as a full range of standard and premium beers all quite reasonably priced. Our drink waiter, Darrell, looked after us very professionally which just added to the enjoyment of our night.

Would we go back again? ABSOLUTELY if only to try the grilled saltwater barramundi as well as some of the other desserts. Needless to say, this restaurant comes highly recommended.

My wife and I have dined twice at Babbingtons. We consider it a bit of a jewel. Its not very well known unless youre told about it as its located within the motel precinct. The service is warm and attentive. I cant understand people writing a bad review here, they obviously think they are on My Kitchen Rules or the like. The key to our great experience is the food. It is fresh and tastes are amazing. It is obvious that the chefs take pride in their work because the detail and flavours are fine dining. We asked who the chefs were on our second visit because the food was really impressive. We forgot one of the chef's names, but the other is Will. He even came out to say thank you for us saying thank you! We definitely will go back time and time again.

Wow! we had waited so long to head to Babbingtons. Our night was amazing. The food was spectacular and turned out to be one of the best restaurant meals ive had. The service was great as well. There were 4 of us and we all ordered different meals and ended up tasting each plate. Everything was amazing! Well done to Head Chef Dave and his team.
Cant wait to go back again.
