Thankfully only stayed one night. Our room was very cosy... in fact so cosy that one side of the queen bed was pushed against the wall, very difficult to access for me. But the best, was that there were NO bed lights. On discovering this my husband saw the owner who gave us one desk light,,, still not good enough, though being an enterprising sort of fellow my husband managed to wedge it between the bed and wall and centre it so that we both could read. The linen on the bed was OK but obviously well worn and not pressed.
On the positive side, it was quiet so we did get a good nights sleep and the breakfast was tasty.
The pictures on the website do not factually represent the rooms.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment overnight, and it was massive. Large living area downstairs, with a double bed in an open room at the top of the stairs and a separate bedroom with bunk. The bathroom was clean and modern. At just under $200 for the night though, I thought it was a bit expensive for a motel in Newy. You could get a decent 4 star apartment in a capital city for less $$. With this said, the apartment was large and comfortable for a longer stay, although I couldnt justify the cost.

The apartment was right at the front of the motel, so there was noticeable road noise - But not much can be done about that.

There was a pool onsite, and the water was a nice temp.

The bathroom was clean and the sheets were clean, which was great. But there were small cockroaches everywhere, including inside the kettle - so we couldn't even have a cup of tea. Also they turn the lights off outside at some point which is very unhelpful and dangerous. We came back at 11pm and their sign was not lit up so we missed the driveway - twice. Also there were no lights on at all in the driveway or carpark and as it was a steep walk down, really quite dangerous. Wouldn't stay there again. Not worth $124.

I stayed two nights. The manager was friendly and helpful and check in went smoothly. Yes the rooms are a bit tatty but they were clean and everything worked. The WiFi was cheap at $10 per 24 hours with a good download allowance. I had a room service meal that was adequate on the first evening. Breakfast was good value and served on time. Keep in mind that this is not a five star hotel. Suited me but it may not suit everyone.

Just stayed one night in Newcastle. Got a free room upgrade. Place was clean, well equipped and well priced. Reception was friendly. Shops, restaurants and yummy pub in walking distance. Would stay here again.

This motel is not worth $95.00 per night and totally agree with others it should only be $50.00 per night. The queen size bed was disgusting - you could feel the springs, it was that bad my husband and I left the next morning at 6am...it was not worth sleeping in. This motel needs a 360 degree make over...If you want a good nights sleep and a decent looking motel then look elsewhere as this motel is not worth your money...sorry, just being honest.
