This was our third visit to 'The Old House', having previously stayed in 'Stable Cottage' and 'The Garden Wing', both of which were equally delightful. This year we (two adults and a four year old) stayed in the extremely comfortable and spacious 'Housekeeper's Quarters' and we were amazed at the space and views from the top floor of this wonderful house. Ann and Manor really have thought of everything and are the perfect hosts. We received a warm welcome and a delicious cream tea which was most welcome after our long journey. The local bread, milk and butter also meant that breakfast was sorted for the next day. The house is very well appointed for all sorts of activities, no matter what the weather. We visited the numerous National Trust properties in the area, local beaches and the West Somerset Railway as well as shopping at 'Clark's Village' nearby. The local pub is well worth a visit for evening meals and a very short walk home! But make sure that you book first to avoid disappointment as it's very popular! All in all, a wonderful holiday and we will be back again soon as we haven't tried the B & B yet......
