“Another fantastic holiday at La Grange”
Reviewed July 7, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We have stayed here previously, more than once, and I can thoroughly recommend this Villa for couples, or family groups. It is in a perfect location, for golfers and non holders alike . It is superbly equipped, and the pool and terraces are wonderful.
We love this area, and when visiting always stay at La Grange or the owners' other property Acabanes, as they are the best we have stayed in on countless visits to France.

“A very lovely place to enjoy with family and friends”
Reviewed September 18, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We throughly enjoyed this holiday home. We were made to feel welcome from start to finish. The boys loved the trampoline, table tennis, bikes(6) and broadband. The golfers enjoyed the course, and everyone enjoyed the wonderful pool and BBQ/patio area. Three good sized rooms with ensuite bathrooms in good clean order. The communal areas are comfortable and include: kitchen, dining room and family room. Two outside seating areas (with great views over the french countryside) ensure there is enough space for all to enjoy. All baby equipment provided was in excellent condition. A car is a necessary and detailed instructions to all local amenities and eateries are provided. We enjoyed all the recommendations that the management team provided. We have booked already for next year.

“Tranquility in the countryside - highly recommend.”
Reviewed September 16, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

This lovely conversion in the heart of the Bordeaux countryside is the perfect setting for a peaceful family holiday. It is kitted out with all mod cons as well as being furnished and decorated in traditional french homely style. We were lucky with the weather and were very grateful to have aircon in the bedrooms as the nights were hot and humid. The kids loved the trampoline and the wonderful heated pool, and my husband and I relished the peace and quiet as we live busy lives in Hong Kong where the noise never seems to stop. Absolute highlights were the long lazy evenings on the terrace sipping ice-cold rose as the sky turned pink after a long hot day of fun in the pool and exploring the local area. Bergerac and St Emilion both wonderful little towns within a short drive and many fabulous vineyards dotted around the area. Dont forget a bottle (or 5) of Monbazillac! British key-holders Adele and her husband provided friendly baby-sitting and even helped drive us when we couldnt get a local taxi - lovely people who helped make our holiday stress-free. Easy friendly booking - an absolute pleasure from start to finish.

“Fine quality and very relaxing”
Reviewed August 13, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

The Grange was pretty much as portrayed on the website. The fittings throughout were of good quality, bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent which is where we spent most of our time during the fortnight. The pool is a good size and was cleaned on several occasions during our stay, although it was a bit disconcerting to find a stranger on the property arriving unannounced! The quality of all three bedrooms and bathrooms were of a similar high standard - all with mossy nets and excellent mattresses although only two benefitted from air-conditioning. We were with our two daughters and their boyfriends so we occupied one room with air-con for the whole week whilst they swapped after one week with the non air-con room. It was very hot during our stay and boy was air-con a benefit!
A great dvd selection provided some chill time and the table tennis table was a great attraction. The benefit of having different balconies to sit out on at different times of the day with great views was much appreciated as was the automatic sun blind. WiFi was intermittent during our stay which was a serious pain. None at all for the first few days and then on and off for the rest of the time. Tracey did warn us and it was a rural france issue so not much could be done but WiFI was one of the key criteria for us so it was irritating.
The bike store was a bit tricky to access and only actually contained 5 bikes instead of the advertised 6 which meant we were unable to venture out as a group. The quality of the bikes was good - some gear slip on one. One of the highlights was cycling to Saussignac to pick up the pain and the croissants in the morning. The nearby golf course also was a good stop for drinks and food albeit quite expensive.
The surrounding area is fantastic for serious cycling - we took some road bikes and ventured afar - Eymet, Duras, Riberac the roads are fantastic quality and quiet - no potholes here!
In planning the holiday I considered a lot of different potential venues and hesitated at spending £2k per week but it is all about value and I have absolutely no regrets. A good time was had by all.

“Wonderful villa and well equipped”
Reviewed July 12, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

My experience of this villa is that it was well appointed, equipped and to a very high standard. The vista was lovely with a terrace that caught the best of the morning sun overlooking the golf course.

I would certainly recommend this and would stay here again in the future.

“Fantastic Villa!!”
Reviewed May 13, 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Great location, right on the golf course!

All the rooms are generous in size, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and very clean.

The fire in the front room is an added bonus as it can get chilly in the evenings. There is also a great selection of DVD's - something for everyone!

A hire car is a must as it is quite a distance from everywhere but on warmer days there are the bikes!

Would highly recommend staying here!
