Accommodation very comfortable, we had a superior room, it certainly was. Food is simple, well prepared and tasty. Portion sizes were huge, no starters or pudding required. All local produce. I can certainly recommend the Red Lion. We will use again when we visit the area.

Took a complete gamble and decided to book two nights at The Red Lion Inn at Partney. We are house hunting in the area and after a very long trip (courtesy of a wayward Satnav that decided to take us up toward the Humber Bridge!!?), we arrived at The Red Lion. Wow, we had room 3 which was very beautifully decorated (especially the lovely curtains) and were warmly welcomed by Chris the proprietor, who made us very welcome and the whole stay was absolutely lovely. Even in the cold days of March, we were warmed by real fires and the best food I have had ever. Really reasonable rates and real ales and fantastic food, what more do you want? The breakfasts were very filling and all meals made with locally sourced foods. I really can't wait to move to the area to be a regular at the Inn which is also a restaurant.
The Red Lion Inn is a real 'find' and we will return there again and again. Thank you.

Room Tip: Room 3 was lovely, there is no road noise as the village is quiet and steeped in history.

We stayed at the Red Lion the night before we went to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage centre for a ride in the Lancaster Bomber. We were made to feel very welcome by Chris and Nigel. Food was excellent with good veggie options. The room was comfortable and absolutely spotless. We would definitely stay here again and can recommend it to others most highly.

We stayed at the Red Lion for two nights while we explored the area. The pub is opposite the church in this quiet village. Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant downstairs on both nights and the food was excellent. The beer on tap was well kept. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at the Red Lion again if ever in the area.
