Owner description: Looking for those small extras to make your holiday more enjoyable and memorable? You can experience the thrill of the Coolidge & Million Dollar Point with us but most people don’t realize that Santo also has some spectacular Reef dives. We use boats to access all dive sites which means we can take you to fantastic places not used by other dive operators. Our motto is that you don’t go home with half the memories you should have. Santo is an Island of magic with many more great dives than just the Coolidge. We offer flexible individual, service in order to match the dives to your desires and abilities. We have 3 SSI instructors and fully qualified dive guides/ master’s on each trip so you don’t feel lost in a crowd.Pick-up and drop-off services to your accommodation in the CBD area.Tropical lunch during your surface interval on a amazing white sand beach sounded by the ni-vanuatu locals.Diving with Santo Island Dive is a diving experience not a bumpy bus ride. No walking from the shore carrying heavy gear, no wasted air getting from the shore to the dive site.We can make it happen for you, Diving the way it should be!!

Santo island divers
We dived with santo island divers from santo and also arore island. All of the diver guides and boat men were very friendly and helpful but the company's small boats were in need of repairs. One had a large crack on the top edge of the fibreglass that could rip a wet suit or cause a cut. There was a lack of basic safety equipment -no oxygen bottles carried on the smaller boats. Their timetable was very loose and the dives that you are promised are not necessarily the dives you might go on. Naturally, all of the dive operations in the area are focused on diving the Coolidge so it can be a push to get them to dive the local reefs. Santo divers were accommodating if you push them. Having said that, the reefs in the area we saw weren't really spectacular - so if wreck diving isn't your thing then maybe consider other destinations.

Very professional dive centre with a great attitude to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience with them. Problems are fixed without fuss, the staff are well qualified locals who are great fun and the boss makes sure you are individually getting the service you want. Boat diving the Coolidge is the way to go - no long surface swims against the current, you drop down on the wreck where you want to go. Surface intervals include lunch and a chance to chat, relax or snorkel and you are back in town or at your hotel by early afternoon having completed two great dives. The reefs are to be recommended too - rarely have we seen such beautiful blue photo opportunities out of the caves & cut throughs in the reef - really lovely. We did 13 fabulous dives including an out of this world experience on the night dive - you have to see it to believe it, ask Mal.

Having used and observed other dive operators over the last 25 years -, I can say Santo Island Dive is now the premier dive operator in Espiritu Santo Vanuatu. Booked a 10 boat dive package for a group of divers - Santo Island Dive were always on time and ready to go, calmly sort out any problems divers in the group have and give the group the dives they want while maintaining a safe, professional, interesting and friendly service. Staff are equiped with up-to-date equipment and their skills and knowledge above and below water are exemplary. Excellent service, cannot recommend them more highly.

Have dived with them on the Coolidge. 11 out of 10. We hired a Taxi for $200 Au for the day, saw Million dollar point snorkeling, WW II plane wrecks, farm,s Lope Lope resort, blue pool and more for a n of the cost quoted by our cruise line and got all the local insight as well.

Did a 10 dive package with santo island dive and fishing - 5 on the coolidge, 2 million dollar point and 3 reef over 5 days.

Diving was good - coolidge excellent. I'm an experienced diver so didn't need a huge amount of supervision. Most of the time it was just me and the guide. The guides were excellent, flexible and safe.
