I would 100% say that this is the best natural wonder and tourist attraction of Santo. It really is a once in a lifetime natural experience, I have never seen anything quite like it. Although the trip is quite physical including walking, climbing and swimming (canyoning) it is very rewarding seeing the natural beauty. We personally have done this tour 3 times and will most definitely do it again the next time we visit Santo.

The guides are well experienced, with the latest safety gear and first aid training and experience as they walk the trek day after day. You will be in safe hands with your own personal guide. You will experience nature's best with mind blowing views and surroundings including the trek through the cave which words cannot describe how amazing it really is. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet and muddy. Wear shoes that have good grip and lace up or you could wear reef shoes (which is what we did) they were comfortable to walk in.

Be sure to book your cave tour with or at Millenium Cave tours located at: Luganville Town, Sarakata Bridge (North Side) Santo. You can ask for the managing director: Samuel Andikar, Sam is very friendly, helpful and does a great job of running his families tour. BEWARE! There are other tour groups that claim to be the real Millenium Cave Tour but in fact they are not and they are trespassing on land that they should not be entering. Also they lack the safety standards and knowledge, first aid training and experience. So be sure that your accommodation is booking through the details listed above.

Rene the Tour Bus Driver will pick you up from your accommodation, he is friendly, welcoming, informative and speaks fluently with tourists and guests in English, French and local dialect.

You won't be disappointed!

We did this with local company located just near the bridge on the way into town. Much cheaper and all money goes directly to village for childrens schooling. Loved the whole adventure.

Rainforest trekking, caving, canyoning, what more could you want? This all day tour (run by locals) was great value and a wonderful experience. Great guides and friendly locals helped make this tour an experience to remember.

A great adventure made that little more difficult when the guides and operators did not have enough torches for the group. The guides were there to assist, but the independence of a torch would have been nice. Life jackets for the river float leave a lot to be desired. A hard trek for any level of fitness, but very rewarding.

by far the best part of my time in vanuatu. I spent 2 weeks in vanutatu on a solo trip and spent my time in port vila or espiritu santo in my villa. Millenium cave was by far the hightlight of my trip! It was so fresh and beautiful and the water in the canyons was warm unlike the waters in the blue mountains where I've been canyoning previously. If you have a moderate level of fitness I'd suggest this. You will feel so good after you finish it. I love an adventure!
