This resort is just beautiful. We had linch at the restaurant whilst on a tour & we want to go back sometime & stay. the food was reasonably priced & of very good quality. Take Vatu with you, they don't accept AUD.

A great place to go to to check out the toilets (just trust me) and the facilities are great. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the resturant is good - but stay away from the processd calamari.

Hire a kayak and then paddle to the blue hole, come back and have lunch.

We went to oyster island for lunch on a Sunday it was a buffet and they give you free use of a kayak to paddle up to the matevula blue hole if you have the lunch as well, the food is beautifully presented and fresh we loved it.
The staff there are so lovely and even though we stayed elsewhere welcomed us wandering around their beautiful island and gave us a map pointing out different things to look at.

We stayed at Oyster Island so dined here the majority of our 4 night visit. All was generally quite good, service with a smile and great little setting.

I would say even if you are not staying here to come for the sunday buffet. It cost us 2000vatu (maybe more if you are not staying here) and it was huge with great local choices. And yes the ribs were great, but so was everything else. Off the standard menu I would say the santo eye fillet is a must try, it just melted in your mouth and was cooked perfect!

When they get busy food can come out a little slow, but on island time there is generally no rush.

Dined here after kayaking to the Blue Hole. Was not sure what to expect but it came very highly rated by the people we were staying with (and I have to agree with them). Unlike other reviewers we didn't find the food expensive especially when you take into account how remote Santo is and that most produce needs to be imported. The pizzas were huge and I can highly recommend the Santo beef pizza. The bread and dip platter is also highly recommended. The staff are friendly and welcoming in true Ni-Van style.

Don't be put off with it being and island - just park at the jetty (or get a taxi to drop you there) and hit the gong. They will bring a boat across to pick you up.
