Spent a week at the Deco Lodge while doing 10 dives on the Coolidge.
The Lodge accomodation was fairly basic, but clean and confortable with aircond.
The Lodge is set on the side of a hill with a magnificent view over the sea. The main entertainment area is also very well presented and the restaurant, while expensive, is of good quality. The Lodge also offers a secure diver wash area which is fantastic for those diving the Coolidge.
Diving the Coolidge was a fantastic experience - it's HUGE!. Diving is fairly deep ranging from about 70 meters to 20 meters for the wreck, right up to 3 meters in the coral reef gardens where you do your deco stops, so I'd recommend that before diving the Coolidge you understand what the requirements and dive skills required are.
There are alot of opportunities to penetrate the wreck, but you do not need to do this is you are not comfortable. As it's a pretty cheap dive package destination from Australia, (around $2.2k), I think i will one day return.
