My husband and I recently stayed here for one night. Ann outdid herself :) attention to detail throughout the whole stay was to such a high standard. On arrival we had afternoon tea and Ann's home made lemon cake, oh my gosh was that lush :) Breakfast was 10/10 also. We will definitely be returning as we thoroughly loved our chilled out night away :)

My huhsband and I stayed here for one night during our walk from Penzance to Falmouth along the coast.
I was particularly impressed with the warm welcome we got at Fernleigh coupled with the attention to detail. Our room was a double with en suite and the bed was huge (Larger than king size) with a very comfortable mattress. In addition there were all sorts of little details such as a bottle opener and two wine glasses in the room as well as home made biscuits (rather than the two packs you get in most places). Ann also made it very clear that we were welcome in both the indoor lounge and the front conservatory which made for a much more pleasant end to the afternoon.
Breakfast was served on a communal tale which was absolutely laden with different options when we showed up the next morning. I liked the fact that we were able to exchange stories over breakfast since the other travellers were doing the same walk as us.
The cooked breakfast was delicious so much so that we did not feel the least bit hungry for the next 5 hours!
I would have liked to stay here for a bit longer but unfortunately one night was all we had.

My daughter, dog and myself stayed here 19/20th July 2013. So impressed just had to write a review. Ann is such a caring and excellent host! On arrival it was coffee and homemade cake in the garden and on leaving Ann made me a birthday cake!
Great location, close to everything. Ideal for walkers and Ann said that in the winter she often has a line of boots drying off in front of the fire.

A perfect B&B, situated up on the hill, with views overlooking Coverack Bay. We had a lovely warm welcome from Ann, the owner, along with tea and home made cake! Our room was perfect! Very warm and cosy and the most comfortable bed ever and even more home made cookies and every kind of hot drink you could ask for! We awoke to a beautiful sun filled room and that perfect sea view... And if that wasn't enough, we had full use of a guest lounge and a lovely conservatory to relax in. This B&B really is a gem and WELL worth a visit.

Only now writing this review after visiting this glorious bed & breakfast at the end of last year. Our adult children bought us a weekend stay at this b & b and we can honestly say its the best weekend away in many years. The hospitality at the b & b is first class and the food was delicious. Coverack itself is very pretty, we enjoyed a very relaxing weekend away. A stay is highly recommended :) and we very much look forward to going back again this year.

On our two weeks walk on the SWCP Fernleigh B&B was definitely one of the best accomodations we stayed in. After a warm welcome Ann showed us to our room, which was spacious, clean (as the whole house), bright (two windows) and had a fantastic view overlooking the little village and the bay.
As there is no mobile service nor mobile internet in the village, we appreciated it a lot that Fernleigh offered WiFi and Ann allowed us to use her telephone to make our next reservations.
The breakfast left nothing to be desired and was very delicious.

We visited for a couple of days in December with our young children and were warmly welcomed by the lovely Ann and a much needed log fire and a cuppa! The room was lovely with extremely comfy snugly beds and the children felt very at home and welcome. Also very importantly a delicious breakfast served every morn.
I would muchly recommend this B and B to all, with a sea view to die for, we had a wonderfully stay.
The Christmas lights were brill and the locals very warming xx

Room Tip: Excellent family room x
