My children love trains and my youngest daughter had her fourth birthday party there - the staff were very accommodating and made all the children feel very welcome. We would have liked something to see/do at the other end of the track, but we had the party food and cake to look forward to.

A big disappointment. We booked the tickets online but they were not delivered and had to queue up to collect them.
The Santa presents were from a pound shop and Santa stank of cigarettes.

13 of us attended costing approx £100. We won't be doing it next year.

The website glams up what is a very average experience and the kids (8 of them) were disappointed.

This small steam railway takes you on a trip down memory lane and back to the time of steam. Its great for kids and is always enjoyable. Dont miss the Santa experience.

Lovely little Railway. A Pleasant Mix of Steam and Diesel Locomotives operate most of the year. The wooden carriages are well maintained, but can get chilly on cooler days - so wrap up warm. The station is about to undergo a refurb/rebuild and I look forward to seeing this completed as it will provide much needed modern facilities. The route is a real mix of Industrial sites, housing estates and countryside. The Childrens activity sheet is a great idea. When you've finished the Nearby Town Center is good to wonder around - down the many mews.

Its still remarkable that this little railway runs through the centre of Leighton Buzzard, through industrial estates and housing estates. All proper steam enthusiasts running it, it needs support throughout the year but only now runs on specific days. Well worth a visit especially if you have small children
