“We stopped for a coffee break OK but not stunning”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

We just wanted hot drinks and also chose lemon meringue tarts. Service was very slow and the coffee was so weak and luke warm we had to send it back. We had just about given up on the tarts and were about to go when they arrived. I got the impression locals are well looked after but travellers come second. The ambience was quite pleasant.

“The Dyers at Cafe Bloom”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

What I enjoyed about Cafe Bloom was the pretty, courtyard atmosphere, prompt service and freshly prepared and baked food. They also offer a lovely little 'select and weigh' lunch option... I do feel that because it's so delicious, it's a pity that at times the 'select and weigh' platters run out... The rest of the menu is very good though... lovely open sandwiches and platters... definitely worth a visit!

Loved the toasted sarmie on homemade bread. Fireplace, coffee, amazing food and lots of stunning artsy goodies to buy - what more could a girl want!

“Great food, service and setting...”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

Went for lunch here on a Saturday in winter. We ate from the buffet which was all vegetarian food. You help yourself and then you pay according to the weight of the plate. My wife and I are not vegetarians but enjoyed the food immensely. We finished off with the cheesecake which was also very nice. Service was excellent and sitting in the warm winter sun was an added plus...
