This restored water mill has been so well restored and blends back into the town so well . The Staff are very knowledgeable it has a good craft shop attached also sells local art this Saturday it was associated with the towns Christmas Fair and the Cafe was doing a roaring trade . The bread from the bakery is excellent . I can whole heartily recommend it to you.

What a lovely spot and what great bread baked from the mill flour. The cafe is excellent for lunch or for a snack and Talgarth is well worth a visit.

We popped into the Mill after a walk up to the waterfallls. We paid our £8 for the family and were treated to a really interesting tour of the Mill by Gez.

He started the wheel for us, even though it was late in the day and we were talked through the process from start to finish.

After the tour, we popped into the cafe and had a really nice scone and cup of tea.

very enjoyable and informative.

We also visited Talgarth on a very rainy day! Having seen the programme on TV about the restoration of the mill, we decided to have a look around. All the staff were so friendly and kind, really taking time to show us around and explain everything and afterwards we had coffee and cake in the cafe. They also serve lunches here and all the food looked and sounded delicious. Well worth a visit. On a sunny day, there is seating outside and along by the river.

We visited Talgarth on a very rainy day, just to have a wander and we happened to come across the mill. Entrance was just £3 and the tour we were taken on was very interesting, taking about 45 mins to go round. We got to see the water wheel in action, learnt about how the flour is milled and tried some raw wheat! The tour guide who was also the manager was very engaging and it's a great enterprise and idea- giving a boost to the town's economy. The cafe was lovely- bara brith a must-try and the adjoining shop had some lovely gifts, especially for Christmas. Definitely worth a visit.
