We arrived with the intention of staying only 5 nights but enjoyed it so much we extended it another night. It is a beautiful building in a fantastic location - if you don't mind driving to dinner (or a 20 min walk) as it is just outside the village. Joyce and Ray are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the surrounding area - giving us some great recommendations for dinner. If you are visiting the Brecon Beacons this is definitely the place to stay.

We can't recommend The Granary highly enough. Wonderful, warm yet unobtrusive welcome. The rooms were spotless, very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfasts were the best we've had. Our two children, aged 11 and 8 were made very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Joyce and Ray were the perfect hosts and we will definitely be returning.

You will be glad you listened to all the excellent reviews posted here when you book to stay at the Granary. You are met by Joyce on arrival with a tray of tea and welsh cakes hot from the oven. Suitably revived you can inspect you room, airy and bright. The beds are comfortable and cosy and the power shower is bliss. Work up an appetite walking the spectacular local countryside - you will need it to put away the delicious breakfast that awaits you. From the traditional fry up to smoked salmon and eggy bread every taste is catered to. It's more like staying with family and certainly not like any other B&B I have stayed in. Joyce and Ray are kind, attentive and full of suggestions to make your time with them a real pleasure. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Samantha

We couldn't have asked for more from our stay at The Granary. On arrival, host Joyce, introduced herself, showed us around and offered us a very welcome tea and cake. Our room was absolutely beautiful. It was spotlessly clean, offered plenty of space and light. The bed was an excellent quality and allowed for a very good nights sleep! The ensuite, was also spotlessly clean with plenty of space. Breakfast was offered with plenty of choice, using local produce, cooked beautifully. Joyce and Ray were the perfect hosts and offed a lovely welcoming relaxed atmosphere, we only wished we could have stayed for longer!

This B&B is great value for money and delivers quality.

Ray & Joyce are very professional hosts, welcoming, helpful and get the balance right between friendliness without being overly friendly.

Our room was presented in a spotless condition, with comfortable bed and plenty of hanging and drawer space. The ensuite shower room and toilet and washbasin were very clean.

There was tea and cake on arrival and the breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice for cereal and the main course. We ate in one evening and the meal was very nice.

Plenty of parking space. Comfortable lounge with couches, TV, books and games.

Would recommend to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: There are three letting rooms, we had the large double at the rear which had a nice view to the rear of the hills and Parc Woods.
