Visited 9 years ago and stayed again, this time to view the Tour de France which came through the village.
As previous village, it's a sizeable old property in a beautiful setting, with the river running through the garden opposite. The house is full of an eclectic mix of objects and run by a team who were very busy this weekend due to the vast increase in numbers of visitors to the Dales, but who still managed to give a personal, friendly service.
This time we stayed in a double room with the children on a double sofa bed, as it was the last room available due to the exceptional circumstances. But the room was big, as was the bathroom.
Only two minor issues that irked our teenage daughter; one was that the TV didn't have the full range of Freeview channels (due to it having a Freeview adapter), and the other was that, due to her being on the O2 network, no mobile coverage (not the Grange's fault) or wifi available. Hence a "very good" rather than "excellent" review.
Highly recommended once again.
