An amazing little waterfall in almost a lagoon setting in the tiny village of West Burton in Wensleydale. It's not really on the tourist tail like other falls in the area such as Aysgarth. Arguably it's more beautiful.

No midges so it gets our vote! Lovely waterfall and a nice walk down from aysgarth and around. There's a little shop selling ice cream in the village

Not just a nice waterfall but a lovely grotto and much quieter than Aysgarth. Prepare for paddling and scrambling. There is a small car park but I recommend travelling there by bicycle. The grotto can be chilly so bring a cardigan.

The village is gorgeous so you can spend time wandering around it and then see the falls which are beautiful with plenty of seating around to relax and enjoy them. The walk above the falls up onto the hill above gives amazing views of the valley and the village too.

Took our friends to visit the Falls we had been before, but this time there had been a very heavy downpour the night before and the falls were fantastic, West Burton is a very nice village with some nice walks, visit the Methodist Church its very nice and so are the people.
