This was a terrific base from which to explore southern Burgundy - a peaceful retreat in exceptional surroundings. Our large, heavily beamed bedroom, was one of three recently converted rooms in an outbuilding. There was a large modern bathroom supplied with somewhat scratchy towels.
Although dinner was not offered there were a number of local restaurants an easy short drive away – we encountered no other vehicles, in either direction, on each of our return journeys after 10pm. Breakfasts were very simple but served in a delightful room in the chateau during which the owners took the opportunity to talk to guests and give advice. We look forward to a return visitMore
