“A Culinary Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2012

This restaurant is second to none. The menus are well chosen from local produce, prepared and presented with a genuine love of cooking. The wines on offer complement the menu perfectly. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Given the chance we would have eaten there every night but unfortunately it only opens for four nights of the week!

“A little gem of a restaurant!”

Wonderful ambience, fantastic food, very friendly staff/owners with huge passion for their food. We've visited this restaurant many, many times the last couple of years - and we've never been disapointed!

we had a nice evening. However my ordered filet (pavé) run out and they offered me an entrecôte instead which was a bit tough. But in general very good food, very nice service with recommendation and brochure of the winery of the nice wine we ordered. BTW wine prices in this restaurant are unbeatable

“Consistently good, fresh food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2012

I have eaten at this restaurant on a fairly regular basis (several times a year) and with many different people - and 99% of the time everyone has been satisfied!
The food is good, fresh and mostly locally sourced. It is prepared with attention to taste, texture and colour combinations - and I just love going there!

“Terrific food served by people who care”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2011

In a village with four outstanding restaurants, it's got to be good to be on top. And Le Toit Vert is one of those truly great family restaurants where the food is matched by the welcome and the service.
Christiane cooks, Janna welcomes guests in their own manguage -- whetever it may be. And she is ably helped by daughter Sophie. It's great team. The restaurant opens only Friday through Monday so that Christiane can get to market to serve only the frehest produce in his highly creative dishes.
The menus are really inexpensive for the quality you get, and they change every week according to what's in season. Wines are offered from less well known local vinyards to showcase their offerings and they are very good.
A super plus is a cookery course every Wednesday during the season. Everyone who does it has to work hard but friends and family enjoy their efforts in a splendid long lunch afterwards.
It's a great place and terriffic people
