We went there this Feb, probably the lowest season for tourism in Ay, which is famous for champagne tasting and vineyards. This Cafe du Midi is just on the seemingly only commercial small area of Ay, and the only opening cafe in the whole town. Coffee was tiny. The atmosphere was nice. Some town guys were there chatting. They maybe go to this place everyday. Anyway we like Ay, even in winter it is a very quiet place and we hope to go there again in peak season for some good champagne and local food.
