A lovely location in the heart of the Burgundy wine region and beautifully restored accommodation run by charming hosts Paul and Jolenta.

From now on, when in that region, we will always stay there.

We would recommend it without hesitation.

We were lucky enough to stumble on this wonderful B&B during a short break in the region. The owners - Paul and Jolanta - were tremendously helpful (collected us from the nearby train station) and were more than happy to help us find options for dinner, visits to wineries etc. Our actual stay at Les Deux Chevres was one of the highlights of our trip in itself. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a wonderfully comfortable 'family' bathroom. The overall decor/design of the property is tasteful and well-conceived. Having stayed in both Dijon and Beaune during our trip, we found our stay at Les Deux Chevres, with its location adjacent to some of the most prized vineyards in Givrey, somehow much closer to the spirit of the region. Without doubt a fantastic choice ...!

I have been coming to Burgundy to taste wine every October for the last fifteen years.

Thankfully I have now discovered Les Deux Chevres. It has several qualities which make it so much more desirable than other hotels and B&Bs in the region: the showers are magnificent, the beds are so comfortable, the breakfast superb and the welcome so warm.

The proprietors, Paul and Jolanta, have created a truly wonderful haven from which explore the Cote d'Or.

Faultless from arrival to departure.
The hosts are focused on attention to detail, so it comes as little surprise to hear that Paul is a lawyer by trade and Jolanta his wife a rocket scientist. ;-) ..... and project manager extraordinaire.!
From bedroom and bathroom fit, - mattresses and bed linen through to the freshly squeezed juice, seasonal fruit salad and premium coffee & pastries at breakfast ...... everything was as you come to love from the premium sector.
They took the time the following morning to share with us their nearly realised café and wine cellars which in time will make a fantastic contribution.
Would I return ? - absolutely YES.

Room Tip: Room 1 on the ground floor, - Less-able design with a walk in wet room bathroom and a bedroom with beautiful features and plenty of space was ideal for Cots n''Dogs and the other paraphernalia that other more able people travel with. - Even better, one could reverse the car to the bedroom door.

The renovations of this historic home preserve the original beauty while tastefully providing class and modern touches. Our room had an original marble fireplace, beautiful view onto the neighboring vineyards and gorgeous modern bathroom. Paul, Jolanta and the team were incredible. Their knowledge of the region, suggestions for day tours, restaurants and wine tasting insights far exceeded our expectations. Our 2 night stay was delightful and relaxing. I would recommend Les Deux Chevres over any chateau or other B&B in the region. They were truly fantastic!
