We stayed here for a over night stop while traveling trough France. We wish we had arrived earlier but due to travel delays we arrived very late, 1am. When we knew we were going to be late they assured us it was okay and gave us a number to call once we arrived so the could buzz us in the the secure car park and then check us in. The hotel was very nice and clean, the room was great, very spacious and a great bathroom. The staff were all helpful and friendly, breakfast was very good and there was a good selection with some lovely homemade jams. We only wish we had arrived earlier so we could of explored the local area.

This was a great stopover for us on the way to the South of France. The hotel is situated at the foot of a gorgeous hill covered in vineyards and on the edge of a great little French village we enjoyed exploring in the evening by foot. They accomodated our late arrival due to crazy traffic and were very welcoming to our three kids as well. The breakfast on the terrace was a perfect way to begin our second long day in the car. A big thanks to everyone at the hotel for making this a positive and memorable first overnight in France!

We booked a room through Hotel.com and it worked perfectly. Our room was on the 2nd floor and as it was an extremely hot day the climbing of the stairs ( there is no elevator) was not so easy. But we knew this, so no problem! Airconditioning in the room worked fine and the only thing missing was a shower curtain for the bath. We were made very welcome and every inquiry was met swiftly and kindly anwswered. As this hotel is located in a wine village, the bar menu does include a lot of the local wines, which are verry expensive. But these local wines are some of the most exclusive in the world, so their price should not come as surprise. And they also serve a white and red housewine by the glass for a reasonable price. Breakfast was nice with fresh pastries, local charcuterie and home made jams. Alll in all an excellent stop on our way to the south of France!

Room Tip: If you do not want to climb chairs, book a room on the ground floor or the first floo, which are sli...

Nice hotel near Dijon. Clean rooms, well povided bathroom and parking bewind the fence.
Breakfast is also OK for European standards.
Friendly English speaking Staff.
We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights.
Right around the corner you will find the cateaux to taste some Bourgogne wines.

Room Tip: Ask for à room overlooking the vineyard.

We have been coming here on and off for over 15 years. The Farnier family always offer a warm welcome along with a location in the heart of the Cote D'Or. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and most have terrific views of the vineyards. This is always our first stop on any trip to Burgundy and will continue to be so following this most recent trip.

Passing through Givrey we stopped for 1 night, this hotel was affordable and adequate for us. With surrounding vineyards it is located on the outskirts of the village. Our room was clean, so was the bathroom. Breakfast too expensive for people who would be happy with a cup of coffee and croissant. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Gevrey Chambertin has been a destination for us before but this time was bad on so many counts. Overpriced wine and a tourist trap. The hotel was not very welcoming and although clean it had no real soul and the wines in the foyer on sale were astronomical. Staff were polite but that was it. Too expensive for what it was. Breakfast at €12 per person seemed extortionate. Will not visit Gevrey Chambertin again an certainly not this hotel

Room Tip: Give it a swerve if you want somewhere where you are made to feel welcome
