“A really pleasant surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013 via mobile

Thanks to trip advisor we found a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Cycling from Beaune then exploring the amazing collection of motorbikes, sports cars, fighter jets and fire engines from across the ages. Add to this a stunning chateau and you've a brilliant day out for young and old.

“' What a pleasant surprise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2012

During a casual conversation at my hotel in Beaune, the receptionist mentioned this astonishing place, which was only a mile to the north. I discovered a beautiful chateau and it's dependances, located in a small but pretty village, Savigny-les-Beaune, and home to 8 unique collections, including 80 early jet fighter aircraft, 250 old motocycles, and 34 Abarth racing cars, most having been successfully raced by the proprietor, Michel Pont, in former years. M.Pont is in the business of making and selling fine Burgundy wine, and his wines can be tasted and purchased at reception. I have been there 4 or 5 times now, and I highly recommend the whole experience, particularly if you love old aircraft, old motorbikes, old racing cars, and good wine, in a great setting.
