I was pleasantly surprised when we reached this place. I had already been to Magen's Bay multiple times, and it was NOT what we had in mind. Magen's bay had throngs of people, vendors, and very loud music competing from multiple locations. We wanted quiet, peaceful, safe, clean, warm and sandy. We got all of at Lindquist Beach/Smith Bay. It could not have been nicer.

Very beautiful beach with all the services. The only problem is that depending on the wind you can find jellyfish and algae. Check at the entrance of the beach if they have jellyfish that day before you enter.

Beautiful no frill $5 entrance...heaven. This beach is part of a reserve so there are no vendors with chairs and umbrellas!

Even though the locals complaint about all the seaweed in this beach, i can not explain how much my husband and i loved Lindquist. It was a short walk from our condo apt, and it felt so private. We went back on mid august and since it's not high season we barely shared the beach with another 2 families. The water is amazing.. we would love to come back!

This beach is so beautiful. We enjoyed a nice quiet day at the beach. Swimming and sun bathing was the theme for the day. They have a new bathrooms with showers. I would highly recommend this beach for couples and families. There are no restaurants or bars. Bring your picnic lunch.
