Very warm welcome by Rachel including a local cider drink. We enjoyed our stay in the great, large attic room with a nice view over the lake.
There is plenty to choose from for breakfest, even homemade muffins, mmh.
It is a very nice place to be, even when it`s raining, The magic forest with it's huges rockes is just around the corner.

We arrived on bikes with full camping load absolutely soaked and had such a warm welcome. All our clothes were washed and dried while we had home made cake and tea, met the seriously soft dog and went out for the most superb meal in the town. It was the most decadent night of our honeymoon - we love camping but this was a real treat in the middle of our holiday. Our room hade a lovely view over the lake and John would have loved to stay longer and go canoeing.

Spent two nights here. The location is stunning with wonderful views of the lake from the rooms. The rooms are well kept with great bathroom and shower. This is a very quiet location and you won't have problems with sleeping even though it seems like it is on one of the main routes into the quiet town. It is located right next to the path into the forest and the walk to the honey shop. The breakfast was most ample and a pleasant surprise was the selection offered, not just croissants! I thought the parking was going to be a problem initially as there was no available space left behind the B & B. But there is no problem parking in front of the B & B, unloading and then leaving the car around the lake where there are plenty of spaces and no-one troubles the cars. Surpringly they also had Free wireless internet which did not quite reach my phone in my room upstairs but I think that was a problem with my phone not their setup.
Most enjoyable stay will return sometime in the future this time with a family.

We arrived sodden wet and tired from cycling all day and got a lovely welcome from Rachel O'Brien...despite dripping all over her floors - she also dried our clothes! Tea and biscuits to warm us up and very comfortable rooms and sitting room to use as we wanted. Lots of friendly advice and enthusiasm about the area which was great, with a good supply of maps, guidebooks and games to peruse once we had dried out. Plentiful breakfast for us and our 3 large teenagers. Really lifted our spirits!

A great welcome from Rachel, superb attic room with stunning lake view. Very comfortable stay, breakfasts veritable feasts including delicious home made cakes and biscuits. A great base to explore the artistic town of Huelgoat and the surrounding magical forest., with the trembling rock and the devils grotto.Would recommend this place to anyone, wish we could have stayed longer. A special thankyou to Paddy for making breakfasts so entertaining!
