My wife and I wouldn't consider ourselves to be regular dinners, we believe in quality over quantity. In this current climate our country is full of over priced under performing restaurants with no soul or passion to provide their customers with an experience that we (the customer) will remember, thankfully this restaurant couldn't be further from that. We dinned on what turned out to be a busy Wednesday evening, the popularity of the restaurant was sadly reflected in the parking facilities, we found it extremely difficult to get parked however after over coming this hurdle we proceeded on in. From this point on our evening out was something special. Pleasant service which is non invasive and at the same time thorough - a hard skill to master. Its the simple things in life we tend to forget, a menu which promotes local brands such as dexter beef, mourne lamb, portavogie haddock and glenarm salmon and cooks them in a way that is pleasing to the eye and the taste buds is simple but effective. Value for money is if anything over emphasised here with portions airing on the over indulgent and at times to big to consume but this is a minor complaint on an otherwise perfect evening. We will be back.
