“Immacuate, delightful - a must see”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

We visited the Palazzo Parisio whilst touring Malta by car - what a delightful find! The Palazzo is beautiful, the staff courteous and the grounds stunning. The current Baroness takes a personal interest and it was lovely to see both her and her daughter naturally working alongside their team of staff. The restaurant decor is fabulous and we had a wonderful Traditional afternoon tea outside in the gardens - delicious! A must-do for anyone visiting Malta and a real highlight of our holiday. No wonder it is emerging as a prestigious wedding venue on the Island. Well done to the Baroness, her family and her professional team for making the palazzo such a great place to visit and a success. The gift shop was the best quality I have ever seen, filled with gorgeous luxury items (a refreshing change to the usual fridge magnets and the likes). Highly recommended!!

“Definitely worth a visit”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

We were recommended the Palace before we left the UK and so glad we were. Not much promotion of the place on the Island but it is wonderful. I felt like I wanted to dance in the ballroom. The gardens are a lovely place to sit and relax and take in the ambiance. As the leaflet says " Once seen, never forgotten"

“Lovely afternoon!”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

If you appreciate old homes and antique furniture, the Palazzo Parisio is recommended. The rooms are fabulously decorated and the opulent furniture seems original to the house. Naturally it is not equivalent to the prestige homes of Europe, but worthy of visit nonetheless. A free audio guide is provided. I speculate the gardens were splendid in their day, however they are still pleasant for a short stroll. The Orangery needs much restoration to replicate its glory days and rather sad to walk around. Admission is €12, which includes a €2 voucher to spend in the coffee shop/restaurant, situated in the garden. We had cakes and a drink which was beautifully served in every way and highly recommended. Infact we have booked dinner for tomorrow night!

“Beautiful garden and house”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

We stayed in Naxxar so on one of our quiet days decided to take a stroll around the gardens. Absolutely magnificent location, perfect for an afternoon stroll! Spot lizars, grasshoppers, turtles and fish in the pond and enjoy the stunning scents of the flowers and fruit trees. I would say this would be quite enjoyable for a family with children also.

We didn't eat at the restaurant as it seemed quite pricey for the options offered - the High Tea served looked lovely, yet again nothing special and pricey for what it was. Not worth dealing with snooty people surrounded by a sense of entitlement.

“Beautiful gardens and house”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

Very well kept and interesting house with magnificent ceilings and insight into how the other half lived in Malta in times gone by. The gardens were beautiful and extremely well kept and tidy. They do weddings and this must be a magnificent place to get married for anyone looking to get married abroad.
