Very disappointing. Have had lovely dinners here before, but the waiter was ill I formed, made several mistakes on the bills, and the food was cold when presented.

Thank Marge H

Stopped for lunch on the patio. The flatbreads were adequate but the beef platter was mostly fat. The sides were small and "so-so". Prices were on the high end, but not outrageous. It is a good place to impress friends with ambiance and a beautiful facility, but the food quality and service is average at best.

I had reservations for Sunday night. Arrived and the hostess apologized that they were too busy to serve us, but we could sit at the bar. Sat for 55 minutes and had 2 drinks with my wife. The hostess was very polite and came by several times. The restaurant was half empty with many many empty tables. When we asked why we could not be seated we were advised that they were too busy, even though it did not seem very busy at all. Never offered bread or anything to tide us over. After 55 minutes the hostess, who by the way did not know the specials or the soup offered, nor did she try to find out, said she would squeeze us in, as a favor, as another reservation did not show up, but advised us the service would be slow and our meal would be delayed because the kitchen was so busy. We left. I have a boat at this marina, but will not be eating in this restaurant, even though it is right there.

We have heard about this establishment from friends and decided to check it out. We went for lunch on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The patio overlooks the St. Lawrence and is a wonderful viewpoint. The menu is great, choice of flatbread pizzas, sandwich platters or salads. The food was delicious and expertly prepared! The wait staff were very friendly! It is a hidden gem located off of the Thousand Island Parkway, arrive by car or boat, as they have docking facilities right out front of the patio. We would definitely return and look forward to also dining in their main dining room above the patio for an evening meal or their Sunday brunch. There is no better place to be in the summer than on the water!

My husband I have been going to the ivy for several years. We attended on the weekend with our son and his girlfriend. We booked online about five days in advance. When we arrived right on time we were escorted out to our table only to find the table was still full. We were asked to wait at the bar. After 40 minutes and several apologies they seated us.

The menu has really changed since last year. I really liked their shrimp and grits but it also is no longer available.
Two of our party had the scallops. Both commented on them being tasteless and overpriced. They did mention to the server that they didn't enjoy them and would not order again. 9 dollars per scallop.
Our son enjoyed the pasta and I had the beef which I enjoyed.
Five dollars for bread seems a bit rich! In the past they provided you a fabulous assortment of breads which we always really enjoyed.

We have always enjoyed the ivy but every time we go we seem to have a little less desire to return.
