We have eaten there many times. The food is typical diner food, but lately there have some new twists. The staff is always very friendly - food is served hot and big servings. The place is famous for their pies - all home made and delicious. The place is always clean and bright. Will be back soon!!

I really can't add much to all of the praise that has been heaped on the Rapid Valley except to endorse what has already been said. I do have a couple of favourites: for breakfast, the offer a Spanish Omelet that is to die for (at least figuratively): three eggs, a delightful filling and salsa and sour cream on the side. For lunch, if it is on the menu, go for the cream of turkey soup, it's a meal in itself. I haven't worked my way through all of the pies, but so far I'd recommend the lemon meringue as the best in show.

If you are from out of the area and driving the 401, the Rapid Valley is less than a kilometer due north on the Reynolds Road/Lansdowne exit. It beats any service area hands down, and yes, they have gas pumps, too.

This little restaurant is a popular spot for people from this area. They go back again and again because they offer quality food at good prices. There was a fire here a few years back and people couldn't wait for it to re-open. That says something!
