I endorse everything that others have said about the food at the Clos de la Prairie. I stayed in one of the beautiful ground-floor hotel rooms, and ate twice in the restaurant. Elegant decor, lovely view of green hills from the windows, and presentation of each delicious dish so superb that I had to go and get my camera in order to photograph some of them!
The menu is reassuringly short, with three choices per course, so I suppose if you stayed several days and ate in each night you could find it became repititious. But the chef proposes the odd extra main course dish of the day, so I expect it is possible to ring the changes.
