Scopello is a beautiful area. The village itself is very attractive and the restaurant in the main square is very good quality and value. There are a couple of bars also where we used to have"2nd breakfast" of coffee and cornetto (croissant). The beach
near the house is very nice but stoney so shoes are necessary. The question is the weather. Both weeks were sunny but the second one was very windy. Also it was very cold on some nights. While it was deserted in April it is probably extremely busy in the height of summer.
The house was big and set in a large garden which was fenced in and suitable for small children. The house is very clean and in a beautiful, quiet, rural setting with a large verandah and a lovely patio area. The house has four good bedrooms. Extra kitchen utensils and some form of heating for the cold nights would be useful. Giovanni was obliging and available. We enjoyed our holiday.
Holiday spent in total relaxation in a beautiful villa in a lovely spot just steps from Guidaloca beach.
