“Excellent meal and staff extremely friendly and helpful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2014

Visited on a groupon deal, didn't receive any "second class" treatment at all, excellent service, staff very friendly and meal superb, the best we have enjoyed since visiting on several occasions. Presentation also very good. It is more of fish restaurant, so stick to the great varieties offerered.

“It Rocks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014

We had a superb meal some months ago using a coupon. Even though we live in Belfast some 20+ miles away it was well worth the trip. I was especially hungry even after the very generous seafood portions and our waiter suggested a childs portion of fish pie. What they call a childs portion would qualify for an adult serving in most restaurants. It was crammed with fish. shellfish and prawns for a fiver! Like all our meal simply fabulous. Anyway we had another coupon which I lost. It turned up yesterday and was out of date by a week . I phoned expecting the worst response.
Rather than making an issue of being out of time I was able to make a booking using the voucher without feeling patronised . If I recollect properly its also BYO. Ah if only Grosvenor Rocks was a local restaurant --sadly too far

“Somewhat disappointed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

I visited last week following strong recommendations. The ambiance was very good . The menu was somewhat limited for a seafood restaurant and the staff were very willing and friendly but could use more training. The food was overcooked and the service slow. Clearly there were problems in the kitchen. I hope the restaurant does well but if it wants to be a great seafood restaurant, a lot more work is required
