Stayed at the hotel for a couple of days. I enjoyed the classic atmosphere in the hotel. Unfortunately it wasn't quite up-and-running yet. It meant that we didn't have internet and the restaurant wasn't neither up-and-running. But the service was good, the owner was very nice and helpful.
The rooms was small and the bathroom was literally in the closet. The location though is pretty much perfect.

Room Tip: There is only 8 rooms, so make sure to get a good one!

We've stayed here before and liked it, even though the food is a little on the pricey side. But this time, after a very long drive, we found the patron to be very un-host like to the point of rudeness. Yes we turned up with a dog and we NOW know they accept small dogs only, but we weren't aware of that. (Our dog is a medium spaniel, house trained, clean, quiet). The hotel, as far as we could see, was virtually empty. The patron, on finding out we had a medium rather than a small dog, just refused to consider us point blank. But it was his curt attitude that was terrible. No concession, no apology, no smile, just a scowl. We thought he would have at least recommended another hotel in the area, but no. In the event we found a cheap and cheerful hotel in nearby Malaucene which we will be recommending to our friends. The host in this hotel was completely the opposite - friendly and appreciative of the business. The whole point of a hotel (hote = host) is to welcome travellers, not turn them away. If you have a dog or prefer your host to be friendly go to nearby Malaucene instead.

My second stay in 9 months, and we'll be back again in December. Easy going staff, comfy beds and a great location make this hotel a pleasure to stay at. Almost onsite parking is a welcome bonus. Ask for a room in the annex for a slightly more modern room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the annex as they are more modern than in the main hotel

We stayed two nights as part of a walking holiday in Les Dentelles. The quiet village of Le Barroux and the wonderful hotel and restaurant Les Geraniums was the perfect place to stay and relax after a days walking. Our host Huw (spelt the Welsh way) was a welcoming host and did everything, including preparing picnic lunches, to make our stay enjoyable. He and his wife speak fluent French and English.
The room and bathroom are small but spotlessly clean, and when you throw open the windows to the magical views from the bedroom and bathroom all is forgiven.
We must congratulate the chef in the restaurant who served us a set menu on both nights which used the local produce to great effect, and the food was delicious. If you have the opportunity sample the ancient local wheat which is sometimes on the menu.

Room Tip: Any room with a view - room 9 would be our pick

We stayed here as part of a cycling tour and it was perfectly located both for watching the local Tour De France stages, as well as just exploring the area. The castle on the hill can be seen for miles around and was a good homing beacon for those just exploring the district. We had a good room overlooking the street, and I understand it was much better than some, so would be looking to use the same room if/when we stayed again. We also had breakfasts and dinners here which were good.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the street, and preferably the double room on the left hand side facing the st...

We stayed for 2 nights, excellent location in a historic location. Excellent for bikers. Quiet, good location, not too pricey. You might want to argue that the place is unique with bathroom effectively in a cupboard - it works somehow. And the proprietor is friendly, alongside all the other staff.

Situated just steps from the Chateau de Barroux, this lovely hotel in Provence is spacious and clean, the owners very hospitable. The food is also excellent. We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfast, fish one night and rabbit another, both prepared perfectly. Not to far from the famous Mont Ventoux if you are an avid cyclist, it is a perfect spot to base your cycling from.

Room Tip: There are rooms in the main building where the dining room is located and a second building which ha...
