“The best restaurant in Tenerife”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Rita's cooking is consistently excellent. She searches for the very best ingredients from local farms to produce an eating sensation. The flavours of her food explode in the mouth. She has ability to turn the ordinary into a culinary delight. You will not be disappointed. If it is on the menu, make sure you try her chocolate soufflé. it is orgasmicly delicious. on many nights and on Sunday afternoons, there is often live music which adds to the atmosphere. Rita's cooking is a universe away from the poor quality and overpriced restaurants of Los Americas and Los Cristianos -- and there are frequent bus connections to both towns directly outside the restaurant. It's well worth the effort.

“Worth finding”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

We visited the Oasis at the beginning of November during a period of surprising heavy rainfall. We know this because the roof leaked and several tables were directly under drips. However, why fix the roof if it only rains once every three years! Anyway back to the restaurant. There is no menu which can be slightly disconcerning because you do not know the cost of anything but the food is well worth the uncertainty.
We had a goat's cheese starter. The cheese was really really good but not everyone would enjoy the real fulsome goaty taste of the cheese but first class.
We had the meat cooked on the lava stone which is ideal if you like meat cooked blue!
The amount of candles and the owner and chef [ mum ] banter added to the atmosphere.

“Family run restaurant”
Reviewed February 1, 2012

There is no menu, but the owner Oliver always has at hand a list of starters, main courses and desserts, all made personally by mum. Don´t be put off by the surrounding apartment complex, once inside Oasis the atmosphere is always worth the visit.

“You’ll be lucky to find it on more than one count.”
Reviewed August 31, 2010

You’ll be lucky to find this restaurant for two reasons:
Firstly, because it is tucked away in the centre of a complex with very little advertising to announce its existence.
Secondly, because the chef produces incredible impromptu menus. Don’t expect to always see a written menu because the maitre d’ likes to personally chat through the choices with you. When we went they had pork, chicken, veal, fish and lamb all on offer, following mouth-watering gourmet starters.
Certainly a place to visit for something special in many ways.
