Just returned from a 2 week holiday at this hotel. Yes staff did not speak english well but were very helpful if you just took the time to make them understand what you wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. On arrival we were allocated a double bed, spoke to reception first thing next morning and were moved no problem.
Food was typical turkish but choice was good and plentiful. Would definitely book this hotel again.

We visited this hotel as a last minute deal booking 2 weeks before at a very low price. The room was lovely we were upgraded into a Penthouse with a lovely terrace except nobody had a clue we were up there. We weren't told untill the 9th day that we had to hand our key in to get room service luckily we had already found the laundry cupboard! However the maid was excellent. The food wasn't bad pretty much the same old thing but we ate out most nights as there are some lovely little restaurants around. There were 4 'slightly' english speaking staff members, the main receptionist was excellent, 2 chefs very friendly and the barman. However I am positive a few others did know what we were saying just refused to help. One receptionist very fluently after 5 minutes of sitting on facebook told us she did not speak english and then spoke to us the next day in English.
The main reason we went here is the price was good and the picture of the gym was adaquete as my partner is in the Army, however do not be fooled the gym is not what it shows at all, the equipment is unusable even the man running the spa said it was rubbish!!
It took 2 days for my hairdryer to be replaced and 2 days after the storm we had for the broken glass table top on our balcony to be cleaned up.
The location, Mahmutlar is quite expensive but it is 2.5 lira each to get to alanya on the bus. we found a place called Kestel with very honest shop keepers and it was alot cheaper. Kestel was fabulous and the lady owning the bag shop and her husband and his friend who run the clothes shop further up were fantastic! made our holiday.
If you are with a few people this holiday may not seem as bad but when you are a couple, sometimes a friendly face would be nice we didn't meet any english untill our second last day:(!
P.S our air con never came on in 35C! It was awful!!

Room Tip: Penthouse room Block A, Ask for a double bed with Sea view and a Terrace and you will get the nicest...

It's worth every penny you paid for! The hotel is fairly inexpensive, with nice rooms and garden, plenty to do, family oriented. The service is great and quick, quite friendly although hardly any speak English.

Room Tip: Rooms right above the reception, i.e., 1st floor is to pick!

When me and my friends travelled here at the beginning of July were a bit put off when reading the reviews so had decided (before travelling) to move hotels after 3 days.

This hotel is very much aimed toward Eastern Europeans and this included the food, however we found a small restaurant down the road called Pinocchio's which served really nice food which is more suited towards Western Europeans.

The only negatives I can say about this hotel is the food, air con (which only works for 8 hours over 24, 4 in the afternoon, when no one is in the room and 4 hours at night, so it was very difficult to sleep at room was very hot!!) and distance from the shops in Alanya but even then the bus is 1 lira 25 to go as far as you want so that wasn't the end of the world.

The staff speak little English but are extremely friendly and always make an effort to include you in the sport activities and they took a few of us out for a night in Alanya, which was very enjoyable. The pool is a decent size and the slide is fun when it comes on. The rooms are also a very good size with plenty of rooms for suitcases and room to walk around.

Overall, this hotel wasn't as bad as we were expecting it to be and we still had a good time. But if you want a more luxurious hotel and a more worthwhile all inclusive holiday then maybe look elsewhere.

To be honest, this isn't a great hotel, I found there to be more negative than positives for this hotel but it is not a total disaster.

Firstly, if you are english, beware of this hotel. Very few english people stay at this hotel, therefore it is mainly catered around eastern europeans. The food is pretty awful, for breakfast all the have is cold meat and cheese and salad, no toast or fruit etc. Lunch and Dinner are just as bad with little choice and variation.

The rooms and blocks in which the rooms are situated in are tatty and could be updated, the lift is very old and fits one person in. One of the worst aspects of this hotel is the air con, it only works for 8 hours over a 24 hour period, which means in 35 degree heat, the room is unbearably hot.

The staff speak little english but are friendly all the same and the entertainment team made an effort to include us in activities etc.

All in all this hotel is average, if you're looking for an luxury hotel, this definetely is not the one, however, if you're looking for a cheap holiday and aren't fussy, you may get on okay.
