This was the one place I researched and booked before our trip to the Bologna area. The experience was one of the best of our trip to Italy. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The restaurant is nestled in the charming small town of Savigno, which is known for truffles, and there were several dishes that featured black truffles.
The three of us shared 3 starters, 3 1st courses, 3 mains, 3 desserts, 2 bottles of an amazing local red blend, and 3 espressos. The total was 200€ exactly. We’ve spent literally 5 times that at other Michelin rated establishments.
Everything was extraordinarily delicious. Hands down the best Italian food we’d ever eaten.
I can’t recommend this place enough- drive out early- take your time to marvel at the pastoral countryside on the way and walk around Savigno.
