I spent 1 week in the Constance Lemuria in Praslin last February (of 2013).
The main reason why I chose this hotel is because of the golf course that is inside the resort.
I must admit, every minute of the stay has been enjoyable.
The personnel is very helpful. They do their best to fulfill your needs and are very friendly.
After an initial briefing at the bar where everything is explained, I was taken to the room.
I found it very spacious. The bathroom is huge and all is elegantly set.
The balcony is nice and well set with table, chairs and a sofa, and a nice view on the garden. The beach is 10 meters away.
The bed itself is on the hard side, which suits me perfectly.
Oh, there is a mac mini in the room (hooked-up to the TV) so we can connect to the outside world if needed.
The buffet breakfast is exhaustive and should suit a large amount of people. The only grip is that it opens at 7, which is a bit late for me.
I had my lunch and dinners in the main restaurant. I like buffet style, all was great, perhaps a little lack of variety on the starters side.
The wine list is un-believably huge and the French sommelier I dealt with is a real professional who knows his job very well. They have exceptional bottles on their list.

The resort is huge, I walked a lot around to discover fantastic landscapes and take photographs.
You can get bicycles by the golf reception if you want to discover the island.
I went around a few times. You can do the full Island in-out within a few hours. Some areas are very steep though, be aware!
The golf course is very well maintained, although some greens could do with a bit of work.
The course is quite narrow and there are a lot of obstacles, mainly water hazards so it is far to be easy.
There is an area to keep your bag safe within the golf reception, so no need to bring it across from your room.
At the time of my trip, the course was very quiet, I could just turn-up and play at any time without booking, which is very nice.
All in all, it was a fantastic trip, so good that I have booked another 10 days in December this year.More
