To start with, we are a couple in search of unique experiences all around the world; that is why we have stayed at several signature hotels like MAUI Four Seasons and UBUD Hanging Gardens before.

We have stayed at MAIA resort for 3 days in March 2019 during our first time ever visit to Seychelles.

The experience was beyond our imaginations and the best one ever compared to all our other experiences up till now.

What I loved most about the resort are:
1- Hospitality and the positive vibes all around its staff. Lionel who is the General Manager of the resort - welcomed us at the door as we arrive. Out butler, the SPA staff, the chef, the beach and restaurant staff were all amazingly kind all the time.

2- The rooms. Offering a very unique and secluded experience with its private pool, private open bath, the music & movie system, private kitchen that is full of the drinks we love. When we first entered the room it was Andrea Boccelli playing all around the pool & room - who is our all time favorite! It was delicate touch from the resort asking us what music we like through a simple form, but they made it real!

3- Whatever, Whenever, Wherever concept. This concept provided us the freedom not just to tailor make our food & drink menus all day long, but also gave us the ability to decide on the timing and location that suited us. We drinked coconut water at our private bath in our villa, we had a lovely breakfast at our villa pool, we had lovely dinners with live music at the restaurant. We designed it all according to our needs & wishes. Since I have a health & wellness blog, the chef always provided us the healthiest & freshest food available.

4-Special butler service. We had our butler Baadsha through our stay who was almost a magician. He did not only service us to the best way possible but also he tried to get us know better and provided unique experiences such that a special dinner by the pool surrounded by a flower table (because he has seen me with a flower on my hair everyday, he got tat I love flowers!), another special dinner at the wine cellar with Queen playing at the background (which her heard us listening at our villa!), a private breakfast on the beach (because that we love the beach and the sea!), bubble baths in our private bath tub served with fresh coconuts. Wow! Even our mother does not know our tastes and likes that much!

5-The spectacular view & nature. We had a special snorkelling class at the amazing corals all across the resort and saw the fishes that we have seen at documentaries with our own eyes. Not to mention the singing birds every day & night and amazing starry sky and sunsets.

I stayed at this hotel in between september and oktober 2018 and loved each bit of it.
Super rooms, super food and drinks and the best service available from each staf member around. My trip was so good that i decided to go back in april 2019 for another 8 nights... I feel blessed. Thank you Maia!

We have stayed at MAIA for our wedding and honeymoon. After being back home for a week now, we are still speechless about this experience.
From being greeted upon arrival until checking out this was beyond perfect. Guest feel really appreciated and worshiped by all staff members.
The villas are incredible with the most spectacular views over the bay, equipped with more than one could wish for. Everyday we were surprised with treats and our butlers were so dedicated to make our stay very special. The sound system is great and allows to create a vacation soundtrack that is played all over the personal space. The wide spread space offers enough spots to relax and unwind without leaving the villa.

We’ve travelled quite a lot, but this was a really exceptional experience for us.
Especially how we were treated on our wedding day - from breakfast to our wedding dinner, unbelievable!
Thank you to the whole MAIA team for making our special occasion extra special. We will definitely come back to live in heaven again.
